Trying to get a 90 year old to conform to a Mass Psychosis ought to be illegal and is dangerous to the 90 year old.

I'm almost 60, and I'm not so sure I understand the whole thing. So for someone born almost a century ago surely doesn't grasp all the nonsense. Really crappy to do this to 'her' as I believe she realky doesn't understand. All of us aren't on board with all these confused persons.
No more donations to the MS Society. Let the woke liberals pay the bill.

Very little actually makes it to those who need it.
As a former volunteer for NMSS I will second this. Only about 60% of the money donated actually makes it to the charity part of the organization. And most of that then goes toward research grants, not directly to people who have MS. They have volunteers who help patients in need find other charitable organizations who can help them directly. NMSS gives their money to scientists researching for a cure and better treatment options. Having MS, learning just whar the society does was eye-opening for me. I haven’t given them money in years.
I'm really sorry to hear all of this. I have raised money via organizing a Walk MS team in South East Pennsylvania for about 8 years. I do it in honor of my next door neighbor who lives with this insidious disease.
I'm just beginning to organize for our May walk now and feel like this is a real gut punch. 😢

This lady has more sense than all of us combined. She deserves a parade in her honor.
I have been a volunteer for "Walk MS" for 8 years, raising funds for people with MS.
This insane decision has hurt the organization immeasurably.

Despite the pig-headed progressive behavior of one person (who's no longer with the organization) I'm going to continue to volunteer for Walk MS coordination for Sue.

Sadly, age discrimination suits don't go very far. Ageism is extremely rampant and no one does anything about it at all. In fact, it's the #1 first most predominant form of discrimination across the entire country, but never recognized as such.

Keep your money for yourself or make donations directly to other patients. Most of these "illness" charities spend most of their money on corporate salaries, staff and advertisements. Very little of the money actually makes it to patients that need help.

My aunt had MS and use to donate lots of money to them. When she then turned to them for help, they refused to do a dang thing to help her in the least little bit, but sure kept asking her for more donations.
Also, she mentioned that all of the doctors and nurses she spoke to in the hospitals all said that this particular organization is one of the very worst out there for ripping off the public. That and the Arthritis Foundation.
I retired from the military at 42 and found many companies discriminating then over age.
Not only in the job market, but in other areas as well. And it seems to ME that as people are expected to work longer these days, the discrimination is getting YOUNGER.

Meanwhile, they keep wanting to raise the age of eligibility for receiving SSA benefits. I've encountered so many people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own, such as a company going out of business, who cannot find another career type of a job solely because they were discriminated against due to their age and only continues to get worse with age, and over time.
My pronoun is “Smarter than you”. I was hospitalized 6 times last year and they always put Mr. In front of my last name. I finally told them to erase the Mr. in front of my last name because I didn’t believe in the pronoun game. At first I told them to put “Doc” before my last name since I’m an old retired MD but someone kept erasing that and putting “Mr.” there. I finally erased that myself and put “Smarter than you” in front of my last name. No one bothered erasing that because they thought one of my real treating docs put it there.
Dr. would still be an appropriate title for you. You don't loose your degree just because you retire.

I don't give money to charities anymore because I used to work for one as a fundraising coordinator and seeing where the donated money went to I resigned. I also do not give used clothing or goods to charities anymore because charity shops over price donated goods and, a lot of people now buy from charity shops and sell it on eBay.

According the MS society website "The desired outcome of our DEI practice is Belonging, a human, emotional need to feel accepted, valued, seen and supported." so how is firing someone over asking about pronouns fit into this statement? Anyways- societies that depend on donations should really not go out of their way to give people reasons not to donate to them.

This reminds me of my grandmother, who was born in 1925. One day we were at a family gathering and something came up about black people. She says something like we should do more to help "colored people" A couple people say ' we don't call them that, we say 'people of color'. My grandmother was completely perplexed. Each company and charity now publish their DEI rating on their annual reporting. Higher the rating less we should support the company or charity.

Similar to how you would treat money for an investment.
There are other MS charities that use much more of the money donated to actually help people who need it. I recommend Healthwell Foundation. Their MS branch really needs help so they can assist more patients in need. They saved my bacon and allowed me to afford to get my meds. Now I can pay on my own and give back to them regularly. Nearly every dollar donated goes toward helping people in need. Exact opposite of MS Society.
I would regard having a DEI program as tantamount to confessing one is violating the Civil Rights Act of 1965.
