I've heard many propose that Trump should go & surprise at Brownsville. Impossible 1) Brownsville is run by Dems and politicians have to get permission to hold event so it won't be a surprise
2) The Secret Service has to vet any place where their client is going, so soon as that happens the bureaucracy would know and they report to WH
3) Trump just as any high value client will always be monitored by Intelligence Establishment and they would know if he makes any plans like that
4) Relevant to first point, local law enforcement and certain hospital has to be on alert when ex president is visiting. So there's no way to keep that a secret.
5) Two secret service led event can't happen at the same place. They just don't surprise each other even if politicians would want to.
Its a cool idea but impossible.

My Mother-in-law, with her family, came to America in the 1920’s through Ellis island, legally. They had to be sponsored and her father had to have a job lined up. They slowly made their way to the west coast. They were not allowed to speak Norwegian at home, it had to be English . They learned the language by listening to others in school. LEGAL! My Grandfather was a British citizen and a member of the British army during WWI and immigrated legally to the the U.S. just afterwards and applied for citizenship (unsure if or when he received his. His son, my Grandfather was still a British citizen but living in the States, volunteered and enlisted the the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942 served with distinction until 1944 as a engineer/gunner with a B-26 flight group, received his U.S. citizenship in 1946. They all did it according to the immigration laws. Sometimes it takes a while to gain citizenship but just shows doing this the legal way is easier for all concerned.

My parents and grandmother too, were legal immigrants. Had to have a clean record, good health, promising career, and money for 6 months of living expenses!
