If you're not given any opportunities to prove to them that you wanna take their restaurant forward with your meal ideas it may be wise to just walk away and work at another place that is lenient and easygoing enough to let you have your creative freedoms in making the foods you want. But yeah, I tell the owners all the time my opinions, but it's got to the point I just gave up trying to better their restaurant, once I get a better paying job and save up money, I'll be buying a food truck and making my own business. unfortunately, until then I have to collect the scraps, I'm paid till that happened. thank you for your sympathy I appreciate it massively! It's not loyalty that keeps me there just the lack of availability. I keep cooking at home and work on my own recipes, but I would love to cook them for customers and get their comments on how they like my food, but the owners don't want to put my dishes on for a special, even if I buy the stuff for them myself... sorry this was kind of long.
@@cloud999yt ive read longer boring ones before lol but still found your situation unique as im in the same boat tho it's not cooking related haha. Your plan sounds great btw, saving for a food truck working for no one but yourself that sounds more appealing. If theyre not gonna give you a chance to introduce new foods on the menu even tho you've already proven yourself time n time again and they still afraid you might prove them wrong you need to show you mean business and go at it on your own. I get you that there's lack of work out there and it's hard atm, i think you don't need to be there working full time if you might get work n work behind a bar pouring drinks n be able to network with a lotta people n get to know your demographic outside of your normal job it might give you a bit of motivation to keep your dream alive. Don't let management get to you like that think of it as them being insecure of what youre capable of and if anything it shows you their true insecurities of what they lack in running a restaurant properly. From then on just quiet quit for now n let them run themselves to the ground while you plan your exit strategy. Don't give up.

I've given them idea's and even told them i could sit down with them and go over recipes i have made myself and see if they'd like any of them or want any help bringing in more people, but they don't want to. so i just cook the food how they want it and cant wait to leave each day and been searching for a different place to work at where i get paid good money and get around 40 hours a week, it sucks because i have a phenomenal work ethic and i'm an extremely hard worker but i just keep getting taken advantage of no matter where i work... i do 5 different jobs but only paid for 1, and if i dont do those other jobs (which other people are supposed to do because thats the job they get paid to do) i get yelled at for not doing it lol like can't win. can't wait until i can get my own business started because then i can finally be happy with where i work.
@@cloud999yt damn it sounds like you don't get enough respect and appreciation over where you work at, them not allowing you to introduce new menu choices and other cuisines sounds more like them trying to hold on to their pride so as to not get outshined by their own employee and rather they want to be the one that's in control of their establishment.
If you're not given any opportunities to prove to them that you wanna take their restaurant forward with your meal ideas it may be wise to just walk away and work at another place that is lenient and easygoing enough to let you have your creative freedoms in making the foods you want. You have skills AND experience, why waste it on working for morons that don't appreciate and value your time and loyalty to them? You deserve better.
@@nicktubara yeah I hear you, I've been applying to other restaurants, but I've got no responses yet and I'm unsure as to why, all my job's I've had were at the least 2 years each and I did phenomenally at each one of them, not sure if I'm just "overqualified" for some of these jobs or something else. They lost my loyalty a long time ago when I found out they don't trust me enough to even close the line by myself, I've been there for just about 2 years now... and closed the line with the chef almost every night, but still need a babysitter to make sure I do it right lol, talk about lack of trust.
Her tattoos are awesome and her professionalism seemed to always be on point.
It’s gross.
I'm proud of the girls taking up the lead but I am also proud of that guy Nick who didn't put ego to get in the way to fight for the position of floor manager. He steps back and lets the person he knows will do the work better.
This makes you teary eyed
This show is one of my favorites. Jon is freaking awesome as hell.
She is so damn cool. Definitely wife Material
Good looking, great personality, talented and professional I agree she is an absolute win
Ashley Clark is not only hot, but skilled
I swear I don't understand how so many people go "here have a free drink" to EVERY CUSTOMER and still have the audacity to go "I dont know why we're not making money. I need help"
Some owners are so lucky to get loyal, talented staff. Then, a BLESSING to have John Taffer & his team show up to save them. And what they do? Blame others. Throw it all away
3:38 Ashley is like Fast and the Furious of bartending and her intelligence, speed, and accuracy of making drinks is top of the world
I prayed for someone like tagged and Ashley Clark when I was a bartender for a failing bar, the place shut down but I loved my job there
Owning a bar isn't just an excuse to party its actually WORK.
I love how you left the little Gordon Ramsay in there
Who is the little Gordon Ramsey?
@@meryltrue8773the nicer Gordon Ramsey who is more cute than scary when he’s yelling at you for cooking something wrong.
Ashley is the best bartender.
You keep popping up in my recommended and I enjoy the content! Definitely subbing!
I absolutely love that dragon tatoo!
Also huge credit to the other experts mr taff, brings in. Honestly they all pros and deserves the credit aswell.
The part where he flipped the guy on top of the moving car was crazy was not expecting that on a commercial for his new movie
Im about 2ish hours from Milwaukee. Wisconsinites most definitely can drink! Lmao. Its also awesome when you see that in season 8 and others, they use Manitowoc Ice machines! Not only that, Taffer pronounces Manitowoc right!!!
Taffer is first class with the names, I try to emulate that as well!
The cocktail of New Orleans isn’t it a Hurricane?
she is a robot that was placed here by jon taffer's tech department
This is one of the best videos I have seen, in this category. The presentation is fantastic.
Thanks for the video of you talking the entire time
God bless the feels from this episode, thanks for posting🌹🌹🙏🙏🤟🤟
Ashley does have talent indeed! It's sad that the last bar closed. It seemed the owner just wanted it his way even if it was wrong. Blaming Taffer is stupid if you make more in one night then a whole month. What an idiot.
Ashley Clark is amazing and legit too damn beautiful .. she should come back to the show
That dragon tattoo over her whole chest is amazing
I LOVE Ashley! Her episode I knew she'd be moving up.
I love Ashely Clark. She showed passion and drive. Her ferocity of saying she loved her job, that's what I want.
How do you revert back to failing ways after these miracle workers save your bar?
Chaos is a ladder
Not a taffer fan .. but this was the best move he made.
That first owner might have been a daddies boy but he seemed hyped for Ash
WOW! I had a boss who used to go to Y-Not II which was not far from where I lived. I never went there but never knew there was a 3rd. And yeah, we drink hard in Wisconsin.
I visited Y-Not III about a year after the rescue; it had fallen back to old habits, and the men's room had been _trashed._ A year after that, it had not only been closed, the building itself had been demolished. Talk about failing HARD!
What happened to Ashley Clark on that frozen cactus episode? Her voice dropped so much Lol
Probably sick during the time or might just sound like that normally.
2:30 maybe I just never drank enough but my vision never even comes close to looking like that when I'm wasted
Imagine being a business owner and a staff member gets poached right in front of you. Quit running a business.
Little weird they have cameras in the bathroom..
Liked and subscribed. Its a good show! And great insight. From someone who enjoys the little things, the edits and the commentary was really great!
