There used to be a shed down near the outskirts of town near a cliff where I and my friends used to go just because it was a free spot with a perfect view of the moon and it felt like ours, when we reached our early twenties and were about to part ways for college,we decided to put fifteen things in it for the fifteen years the three we spent together as friends, and just four years later both of them are dead. I went down to the shed the night I came back in town, and saw all the weird stuff we put up there, and God only knows how much I cried. So I sit down in a corner and use the speaker full of songs we loved for support as I sit,and my wrist hits the play button, and this is the first song that comes up. And just having this playing while the moon was beaming down on me was soothing in a way,it was almost like it was telling me it was all gonna be alright and to smile a little. It was a nice moment in time, bittersweet as they call it.

Not sure which ending music is better: this, or Link to the Past. They're both the soundtrack of my childhood. This one is more fun, but Zelda is more epic.
I was never good at any Mario game. But my brother and sisters were. I was always so happy to watch through it and beat it. My better childhood memories.
This nostalgic * near perfect masterpiece needs to go the hall of fame for video games. Props to YOU, the player, for making it this far & being determined enough to do it all. Congrats, remember, you will always be in someone’s memories or hearts, everyone is always loved.
“The game is over, thanks for playing! It’s time to say goodbye, but we’ll see you again some day!” The multiple crescendos really give you that sense of how things will be alright and we’ll be back to play again (ie another Mario game) soon. Koji Kondo is without a doubt, a/the god of game music.

SMW was the first game that I ever completed all the way to the end. This theme just made me so darn happy. Still does. Such good memories.
+ one song to "Maybe i will play this at my funeral" playlist
Not sure which ending music is better: this, or Link to the Past. They're both the soundtrack of my childhood. This one is more fun, but Zelda is more epic.
SMW.
i crying... so beautiful tune!
I remember staying up to 4am to finish this game
ah yes. i can see my gameboy now playing dis. thank you fren for letting me revist this memory one last time

RIP IWATA
PostApocolyptica Really sad news, may he rest in peace.

Iwata did not work on this game.

+Bill Cipher either way he was a huge impact on the video games industry either way and was an amazing talented programmer who saved earth bound
Am I the only one who realizes there are no shy guys in super Mario world but there's plenty in super Mario world 2
It’s 2021 and still don’t want this theme to never, ever end.
I was never good at any Mario game. But my brother and sisters were. I was always so happy to watch through it and beat it. My better childhood memories.
I get goosebumps down my entire body from this. I got a SNES when they first came out. It took 6 months to beat. Now I can do it in about 3 hours.
"congratulations, you survived 2020"
i survived 2020 and now we have to survive 2021
This nostalgic * near perfect masterpiece needs to go the hall of fame for video games.
Props to YOU, the player, for making it this far & being determined enough to do it all. Congrats, remember, you will always be in someone’s memories or hearts, everyone is always loved.
Thank you for writing this beautiful comment with us in mind, remember that I will not forget you for that :)
“The game is over, thanks for playing! It’s time to say goodbye, but we’ll see you again some day!”
The multiple crescendos really give you that sense of how things will be alright and we’ll be back to play again (ie another Mario game) soon. Koji Kondo is without a doubt, a/the god of game music.
The ability of music to hit me with unworldly nostalgia for a game I've never played.
Incredible.
2007. :')
Dem, epic videos.
You're epic too :)
I finally beat this game today after 8 years, and I can damn well say that the ending made me break down in tears of happiness.
Oh man, I remember beating the game first time. This ending was the most rewarding feeling ever
Seeing this was the happiest part of my childhood. By far!!!
Most beautiful game I’ve ever played, it represented my childhood I would say.
Never thought this would sound so nostalgic, even a bit sad one day when I was a child.
Tengo 13 años y recuerdo cuando era más pequeño mi papá llegó en un día de verano con la super nintendo el primer juego que jugué de esa consola y me da muy buenos recuerdos escuchar esta canción :')
Dios me paso algo parecido pero a los 5...
2019: Monkey circle
2020: Petting hand (Pet the meme)
2023: KURU KURU KURURIN
And now Star Rail created Kuru Kuru Meme.
When I see that THE END sign... I get nightmares...
