I would love to see a Mario game with a plot about a twisted time line like this, where Bowser tried to travel back in time but ended up screwing up and this was the result, then Peach became an evil dictator and this castle was the very first stage of the game, but Mario has to fix the timeline with the help of Bowsette and they fall in love during those adventures but Bowsette disappears after they fix the time-line...
This would be an awesome alternate universe where bowsette wasn't formed by the princess crown and peach went crazy cause mario wanted to be with bowsette instead of her, so she kidnapped bowsette.

The touch of making the mecca koopas being Mecca toads was awesome, but those Bowser like statues that breathe the fire and, yes I know they're too small to be Bowser but they're likeness is kind of like Bowser should have been redesigned to either look like peach or look like toad
