Seat Arona Air Filter Change

This is how i renewed the air filter on my wife's 2018 Seat Arona. It has the 1.0 tsi petrol engine fitted (3 cylinder turbo).

Strange design by VAG group that you have to remove the whole air box to change the filter. You would think they would instead design it so that just the lid could be removed, simply allowing a new filter to be dropped in.

I fully agree!
All they had to do was reverse the fixing screws so the lid would just lift off 🙄
Probably engineered that way to add time to the service (time is money) 🤔
