I'm glad you have those videos up. I'm going to write my signature on those filters and bring to my dealer, last time I brought my car to them, they pretend they have changed the car battery, which they haven't, so I'm sick and tired of them trying to cheat on me...
The pollen filter is an easy one to say has been changed when it hasn’t, because most people don’t even know it exists 👍 The pollen filter is not on every service schedule, you would have to specifically say you want it changed 😉 Hope all goes well and thanks for watching my channel 👍
Hi, do u know how long the timing belt last ? And the part number ? And also I heard the water pump has to change at the same time with timing belt, is that correct ? Thanks
@@LouisKong-f4d Hello, in short i’m unsure of the replacement intervals 🤷♂️ I’ve just had a googly and there’s some confusion on the Arona forum. Apparently they are fitted with a long life belt and they are just inspected on a major service. It appears the water pump is driven off the other end of the camshaft than the cambelt, therefore wouldn’t be critical to have replaced with the cambelt. Sorry i’m unable to give a definite answer 🙄 Sandy.
Hello, I’ve had a look and the Bosch one i fitted (part no.. M5135) is a standard filter. The one i removed is a VW one (part no.. 2QO.819.653) and is a carbon filter. Hope this helps 👍

@@TheBeani91 Hello
I’m unsure where the resistors are.
Sorry i can’t help on this occasion 🥲
Sandy.
Was that a carbon filter or standard one. The old one looked like a carbon one?

Hi mate does your seat arona rattle when going over uneven roads? I think it’s my boot but not too sure. Appreciate if you reply thanks.
Hello, no it has no rattles.
Have you looked around the car for anything rolling around?
Lift the car up and check all the suspension related parts one by one. Could be a broken spring, ball joint or rly anything there.
@@Suolain3n Yes, looking back we did have a track rod end fail. I forgot about that 😂
Thanks for your input 👍
@@Suolain3n thanks for your response mate did you have the same issue with the car rattling like the interior bits because of the suspension failure ?
