  • In this entertaining and engaging talk, voice actor James Arnold Taylor brings characters, emotions and ideas to life. He shows how the voices we use can span a very wide range of style, tone and expression, and that how we use our voices plays an important role in what we all feel, think and experience.
The versatile vocal range of James Arnold Taylor has given him a wide range of success. As one of the most sought after voice actors in the business, he is heard world-wide daily. His credits range from leading roles in blockbuster films, the hottest animation on television, one of the promo voices of the Fox network, and national ad campaigns in commercials for TV and radio - from the voice of a Mini Wheat to the current voice of Fred Flintstone. James Arnold Taylor has a successful career doing what he loves best...entertaining.
This talk was given at TEDxRainier in Seattle on November 10, 2012. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

I've watched hundreds of TED talks - this is by far the most entertaining one I've seen. I also like the message & inspiration. +1 for this particular line: "So when do we meet TED?" - I've had so many people ask who TED is.
