WHAT ARE THESE CONSEQUNCES EVERYBODY KEEPS TALKIN ABOUT? LEAVING A LEGACY OF GREAT SONGS BEHIND, AND NOT BEIN RICHER OR ABLE TO CARRY ON..SO WHAT? IT IS WHAT IT IS. EVERYBODY STILL LOVES SR SO YOU KNOW. YOU CANT WIN EM ALL. SOME PEOPLE WOULD DIE JUST TO HAVE WON SONG HEARD.
Spike Island was all the idea of Mani. He wrote all stone roses songs because he knew one day he would play spike Island because this is where he met the love of his life. He was married other stagethat day but he never talks about it because he isanincredibly humble and shy individual.
I was lucky; I was standing away from the water so I heard most of what they played which was still f*cken brillant! On this clip, what is the name of the single that was being played while Evans was talking about the Christmas bonus? I can't hear it clearly.
so shouldve stone roses got an legal advice from a lower? thats the question i got from a teatcher, any ideas? i could say No, but i whould need 199 more words
all the shit about not being able to record is a bit "dog at my homework" for my tastes. Even if they couldnt record they could of wrote a shitload of stuff and been able to have a lot material ready to come out, for when their court case ended. Basically these guys just werent good enough, people can make excuses for it till theyre blue in the face, but it dosent change the facts. if you spend 4+ years to make a record as banal as the second coming youve got serious problems.
Gareth Evans I hate you for what you did to the creativity of the Stone Roses. He was a hairdresser who had no clue about music production, A&R etc. Plus it seems he is unlike by people to this day (2019.) Someone even bought a golf course off the money from the first SR album when everyone else was skinters. Was it Evans?
Personally (and I'm from Ireland) U2 aren't nearly as good as the Stone Roses. It's just that the Rosies aren't as poppy, therefor not as many people will buy their records. That and Gareth Evans are the reasons why U2 are more successful.
ONLY £30.50 a ticket? In 1990!? Thats like paying 50 quid these days to see the arctic monkeys! But not even at a good venue! Gareth Evans, you sir are worse than malcolm mclaren could have ever hoped to be!
I'm Gareth Evans. On the first day I created light...
on the second he created the "blowwave" but not on hair.
Not only were the Roses robbed, WE WERE.
That bit about the plug being pulled on their career is really good, the way they show the footage of The Late Show!
Evans: i was so upfront with them
Mani: he was never upfront, what a snake
the manager sounds like an actor reading the lines from a statement from someone else, that is a whole new level of being false

Thank you, your right.
you only need to listen to the lyrics of the songs on the second coming album plus the band have said it
Evans is a snake. You gotta love how unapologetic he is about it all. "$40,000. Yes, I kept most of it."

The Stone Roses Hated U2!
Gareth Evans I hate you for what you did to the creativity of the Stone Roses. He was a hairdresser who had no clue about music production, A&R etc. Plus it seems he is unlike by people to this day (2019.)

they shafted themselves after assaulting the man who holds a contract with your name on it.
Tom Zutaut is a top a&r man but signing to Geffen killed the band artistically

£13.50 a ticket.
THE POTENTIAL TO BE BIGGER THAN U2? WAKE UP. THAT FIRST ALBUM DIDN'T EXACTLY DO 15 MIL MATE.
