Of course Jonathan Little is cunning enough to review his own play and admit his own mistakes! In poker, we are constantly making lots of mistakes. Whoever makes the least mistakes, and whoever can exploit their opponents the most, will be profitable. Bravo, Jonathan.
Congrats on the win! I liked the half-pot bet on the turn because it's in that zone where it LOOKS like you're trying to bet small to get a call, but also as much as you think you can squeeze out of him. Maybe not GTO, but those repeat half-pot bets are super annoying for that reason, especially on the turn as you know the river is still coming. At a psychological level hard to tell if a bluff, a draw, or just value betting. A tiny quarter size pot bet is just too hard for me to fold to if I have ANY draws at all and can suck out on you. In this case I think he would have folded to anything except maybe a 1/10th pot bet or maybe a shove.
Given the options you’ve provided, I would bet 350000. In real life, I might bet closer to 400-450 to get the SPR just a hair under 1 to set up a river shove, but 350 is close enough. Checking is not an option, because if we check and then hit the river, the SPR would be too high to get all of Zakis money. I don’t particularly like 700 because I feel that the chances of Zaki shoving over a 700 bet are a lot higher than if we bet 350, and I don’t particularly love an all in because that’s a pretty polar bet that basically forces Zaki to play perfectly against us.
Greaț work coach! Why does it seem that he was afraid of you , when bluffing and when not.. the 700 000 semi draw was such an obvious bluff:) you got him scared!!
What about 500k bet? Should get some folds and then all in river is 70% of the pot much better than with bet 700k. Also if you get check raised its cheaper
To be fair, if you're in a heads up match K7 suited is a really good hand. You can't just sit and wait for cards. Also I think maybe he feels like Jonathan is a stronger player so in that case you have to take more risks to give yourself a chance to win or he will grind you down.
What poker tournament would YOU like to win most? 🏆
The dream is the WSOP main event, however being from Montreal I’d love to win the WPT Montreal event!
8:55 sus bro
My local $100 buy-in tournament. I played over 100 times and never won one.

Never noticed how intimidating this mofo looks when playing. He’s got that Phil Ivey, blood-thirsty, 1000 yard stare.

I love the honest self-assessment, such a key element of continuous improvement!
Thank you, you're so right!

Congratulations!! Well deserved, happy to see you winning
Thank you so much!
Bet obv but i didnt pause while i was deciding what size to bet and it came on screen before i had decided. BTW, GG, sir. Skills to burn.
Well played....Congrats
Thank you!
4:02 I would probably be looking to go for a geometric sizing, 700k is pretty close to that.
In most sports if you walk over and shake your opponent's hand and say good game before the action is concluded it means you concede the match.

Congrats on the win vs Eminem
3:56 Was going to say 650k, but I'll go with 700k.

Half pot with a draw like that is perfect

If he is calling kx suited A3 suited shove can’t be that bad.

The other player shouldn’t have just walked off just because he shook your hand early
congrats!
Thanks, Don!
