Exactly, and the stock heads hold these motors back. Hell this guy has a stock throttle body and plenum for crying out loud. replacing the stock TB and plenum on a car that is already supercharged would easily give a 20 or more HP bump.
Allan Nichols It’s not the heads, it’s the cast rods that will break when you turn up the boost. To make these motors hold any power, a built bottom end is a must.

So yeah if you add boost to low flowing heads you'll still make more power than no boost at all. But those stock heads will hold you back.
Unless you plan on boosting it, and dumping a ton of money into it to make power. Get any other car that has an is in it. Or get a 4v version of this car ie; Mach 1 or a Cobra.

Also had a 97 v6 mustang with one of the few turbonetics twin turbos that put 587rwhp 535lb/ft. Also my old GTR 2017 is still faster even stock. I am in now way saying I'm the best either or that this is crap build, just showing you can never claim to walk on whatever.

Wrong I'm making 448whp with a 160k mile stock 4.6 in my 99 GT. Has been at this level for over 2 years now and It was at 410whp for 5 years before that. I beat the piss out of my car and it holding together awesome. Just dont be stupid and give it WOT under 3k and try not to hit the limiter if you can. The 4.6 is made to take a beating man. I know guys with cars with blower cams making 475+ and we all have high mile 2vs.
All depends on which V6 and how much boost, manual or auto. 3.8 for example I personally have seen 1 put 313 hp to the rear tires procharged and tuned with a full exhaust. The 3.7 can do way more.
Prochargers are just pulley driven turbos. If Mustang owners (like myself) wanted to put that much money into the motor and do the intake etc, we would just get turbos instead of a procharger. It’s an easy gain with a lower price.

You must not know how to mod Mustangs dude, is your engine mostly stock, as in no mod parts on engine besides supercharger?? Your making 380rwhp, that will get you thru the 1/4 mile in 12.5 to 13.4 seconds, still fast, are your heads stock, non ported??

What ls short of the most recent version can put down 380 to the wheels in stock trim? I know no 90’s or 00’s ls could get anywhere near 380 rwp in stock trim and even with an exhaust its not happening.
