I have a bay window on the 2nd floor. The setback from the window is about 2'. I put the screen there , 24" from the window. The subjects will look like they are inside the room as you walk by the window. The depth makes it so you can see things that you could not if you were looking straight at it. Try it, it works.
I want to rear project onto a mesh in my large garage 17 feet wide. Should I use white or black mesh? The black mesh is very fine, but I think white would work better, but black seems like it would work better for a garage type of space = dark. Any thoughts are welcomed. Thanks.
Hi team, you said we can use a white bedsheet, this might be a silly question but is there a thread count for how thin the sheet can be? Also what else thats easy to get hold of and found in the highstreet. Thanks and im sure we would all like to know if there is any update to the Atmos fear video selection for 2024. Regards Chris
I was looking for videos and I clicked on this because my projectors are the same model as the one in the thumbnail. Didn't help me with video, but it was still very informative.
You do not need 1800 lumens., For ghost effects, 1800 lumens is way too bright. I find 100 lumens is enough. For a normal size window like in the video around 700-900 ansi lumens would be acceptable for the ones that need to feel white keep in mind an "1800" lumens dlp projector in a calibrated picture mode and a bulb that has dimmed a lot from use is not much more than 800 lumens.
Any projector will do. A grey chiffon / tulle fabric will give great results. The effects are scattered on youtube. I refused to £100's for the fabrics and effects that are not equal to the cost. The key to this is make the inside of the house visible to give the effect of a 'hologram' effect INSIDE the property. Place the material a couple of feet away from the window (inside) and place random objects on the window sill so when the observer walks past the ghosts appear inside the room, and not displayed on the glass! Of course you need to hide the projector using furniture - bouncing the projector beam from a mirror will help
1. This guy reminds me of Elon Musk (without the stutter). 2. I did project directly onto window glass and the images were visible. I have a video of it on my channel. But I will use a sheer window curtain. My question is, does the "screen" have to be right up against the glass? I'm imagining a double image, one on the screen and one on the glass if there's a gap between the screen and the glass.
@@MadAboutHorror thank you for your more than prompt response. I will check out the offerings on the website. I guess just projecting actual scenes from the movie would work? Looking to do a “Nearly Headless Nick”. Thanks again and Happy New Year

Do you still sell the dvds? I couldn’t find them on your website.

You'll need a thin plastic sheet for over the window, a thin plastic table cloth often works well! We don't stock these projectors anymore FYI 👻

Great to hear!

3:02 the cat was like “Yo turn that light off”
Meu que top onde será que vende . Será que chega no Brasil
Can I use a projector I already own besides the one you guys make? I like yours but I already have one lol
Yes you can.
I put mine in styrofoam cooler and project it towards garage door. Do the same for christmas

i have had projectors for years and always wondered how this trick was pulled lol
Will this work on
tinted windows?
The brightness is reduced a bit but it works on my tinted windows.
What projector should I get?
The one you can afford. Anyone will do for this effect
i would recommend short throw
Do you have a link to the DVDs? Your website has a ton of merchandise, and I could not find them.
We don't stock these anymore unfortunately!

No, it doesn't have to be against the glass.
It doesn't have to be right against it, but we found it looked better when we taped it close
Everything is always out of stock. Why not do digital downloads?
Unfortunately Digital Downloads isn't a facility that we are able to offer.
Love it
this is so cool omg
This is awesome!
How do we make our own video for this? We are doing a Harry Potter escape room for our friends and would love to have some of the effects
Hello you can project any image onto a window with suitable window sheets. You may find some suitable existing scenes on AtmosFX's own website

So if I want to do multiple windows, I’d need more than one projector, correct?
Yep
Yes one for each
Wrong. If you have a short throw and area allows for it you can pixel map and make one projector cover two or more windows if you are tech savvy
Great
🖤
Couldn’t be bothered to at least provide some links for projectors that are recommended? -__-
They sell their own if you go to their website, why would they recommend anyone elses?
