Guyana is one place where you can dive deep into the culture when searching for and tasting the local Guyanese food. In Guyana the food appears to be a melting pot of age-old cultures, traditions and flavors - many coming from Africa, Britain, the Caribbean, Dutch, India, China and Portugal. Happy hungry! Cheers, Domenico.
My Guyanese Mom is 80 yrs now she said when she grew up in Georgetown they didnt have alot of restaurants in Guyana everyone used to cook fresh food at home everyday from the market. It was so nice growing up with a Guyanese Mom that cooked everyday fresh food nothing from the can. When we moved to America my Mom found local Guyanese groceries. My American friends had no idea what they were missing and I used to get teased because we didnt eat American food lol. Everyday mom packed my lunch box with Guyanese food. Now Mom is like "you cook im done" 😂
When i left guyana we didnt have proper streets much less a street food scene. Great to see the progress. Guyana is now catching up to the rest of the world. Hats off to the people of Guyana. Keep moving up. I am Due a visit.
I had not been to Guyana since 4 years ago. I went this past November and WOW. What a world of a difference. I’ll just say that! The place is developing RAPIDLY. It’s amazing
Never been to this wonderful counrty. Very similar cuisine to Trinidad. Just diffrent names for some stuff. Looking forward to see this series. Buger looks very delicious. Thank you David💕
Ooohmen love this video David, stacey has become popular, i like her, she is really nice and down to earth. Biggup to all our guyanese people. Greeting from the weekend Vibes Sint Maarten 🇸🇽 🙏🏼🍻❤️
Georgetown's night life has changed.Gone are the days when Street was rural and also gone are the days when the only fast food at nights were from the downtown street corners cookup rice vendor. Thanks for the video. The food look delicious.Keep up the professional work Stacey.
It's great to see the changes in Guyana. Street vendors seem more hygienic than most countries. With all that late night food tasting, I hope you didn't lay up in bed with indigestion!! I have been living in England for over 50 years and often been told that Guyanese are the friendliest. Keep up the good work, guys, wherever you are.❤
I am sooo astonished…The development of Georgetown…Street food never being there .Good luck to all my country people on the development of Guyana We were only known for Johnstown..Extremely happy to see
ALL THE BURGERS LOOKED DELICIOUS!!!!!,HOWEVER MY FAVORITE ONE WAS THE LAST STOP I REALLY LIKED THE BUN ON THAT ONE!!!!!,SUCH GREAT INGREDIENTS ON EACH BURGER!!!!GREAT VIDEO !!!!!👍😜🥰🤗😍💕❤
Oh man that food looks phenomenal 😍 the burgers looked so tender and juicy. The One bite and you’re hooked slogan seems about right lol. I want that Hawaiian burger 😍
Omg I love love this video. David I’m happy you were there to experience all the goodness of my country. The street foods are the best and I can’t wait to go back and have some more 🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Wow...amazing to see how much Georgetown has changed. When I left in 1980 Sheriff St was mostly residential; there were I think two "bottom house" Chinese restaurants.
Oh yes Street time Late night Eats!! Lets go! That's one massive chicken burger and I love garlic sauces! That would fill you up at the end of the day lol. Could not sleep after that though for while. Bring the spice I bet that was good!! Oh a Hawaiian fish burger? Man I so want one of those !! Delicious Hand me one omg lol. The amount of food you get is insane lol Well worth your money for sure. That burger mix? omg wow Chop chop!! That is insane amount of meat lol. 2 people for sure to eat that. Heck of a place to get some great street food. I want a fish burger you had now though YUM. Thanks for the late night street food adventure ♥♥
All the burgers looked amazing but you see that last one I don't think I can even eat half of that, that's one bigggg Burger but it sure looks delicious, sry the rain stop you a little bit.

Was looking forward to seeing Guyana ..always heard so I am happy.....also the hosts are very welcoming and friendly .Their foods looks similar to ours in Trinidad and that burger at One Bite looked really delicious .....actually all the foods. Enjoyed this video . Looking to the others, Thanks David and stay safe on all your travels.
When I visited Guyana 3 years ago I didn't know about any of these new food place they have in Georgetown since I don't go often to visit. Next time I Go I got go all these places foodie eats
Thanks David love the way you enjoyed every thing and your stay in Guyana the young lady is friendly from the way you ate tells me you enjoyed it all Guyana all the way with love 💖😘
Buongiorno David: You know how I always say that I don't eat animal meat, well here's a surprise, I will have any one of those burgers with you anytime. You know how juicy the burger is when you bite into it and you end up with a lot of stuff around your mouth. I can't believe Stacy put the burgers away so easily. She is good. Street food is the best because it's almost like homemade and nothing is frozen. Makes a lot of difference. I think I would go for the fish burger though. They put everything but the kitchen sink in those burgers. LoL. As a side note, I pray for the safety of you and your family and the people of Florida with hurricane Ian heading your way. Stay safe🙏🙏🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦
