For about 6 months I’ve been using this to remote play into my PS5. I’ve taken it to 4 countries and clocked dozens of hours with it. I think it goes without saying to NOT play online multiplayer games but for story based games it’s one of a kind. Slight latency but nothing insurmountable. Highly recommend it

I have no PlayStation how can I play backbone controller in my I phone 14 pro max
You can still use it with out a PlayStation, you can play Apple Arcade, iOS games, Xbox cloud gaming, Steam, and a few more, you just plug your phone up to the backbone controller, and download the backbone app then go through the setup steps
Bruh it keeps showing me a pop up whenever I launch the app about backbone+

Where does one get the free year? All i see is a 7 day trial and 39.99 for a year after
@@cherob1984 idk if they offer that any more! That was prior to it coming it out, but if you purchase it, I think it’s in the box that and gives you one year free but not too sure cause I didn’t buy the gen 2 version I have version 1

Yes you can .. download PS remote play on your phone then connect to it when you out in about .. make sure your PS5 is in rest mode

You can play Fortnite on the phone by two ways until it come back to iOS you can use PS Remote Play or Xbox Cloud Gaming

Yes, you can play it online using the backbone, just all depends on what platform your playing from, but you should be able to access it on PS5, Xbox or PC

Nope 👎🏽 I have iPhone 14 Pro Max and I take my case off, it’s still a snug fit and you should be good where it won’t scratch your lens cause it come with a adapter in the box to help give the pro model iPhone more room
I don’t have the menu. It won’t finish the setup
Close out the app, then make sure fully updated, then turn off your phone for 30 seconds then power it back on an retry the setup process.
So if I buy the backbone app I’ll be able to play my ps5 games on the go? Tried to put my ps5 on rest mode but when I left my house and tried to remote play my ps5 on my iPhone app it wouldn’t connect because of the WiFi network. Thought I could play with cellular data
Yes you can play with cellular data, but gotta leave your PS5 in rest mode and make sure that in the settings it is set to still have access to the internet in your settings. And you will be fine but if you want to use other features with the backbone controller yeah then you gotta pay for the subscription but you do get 1 year free before they charge you. But make sure you update your phone apps and your phone be up to date also update your PS5 makes sure that’s updated a new update came out and have it set to primary for PS remote play, also toggle that setting on in the settings so it will connect. Then you can still play your PS5 on the go with out backbone app if you want to.
I am confused between gamesir x3 and backbone gen2, the backbone app is much better than the gamesir, but the gamesir x3 comes with a color fan, I want both of these features.
so can I put a fan cooling with the backbone or you suggest another controller ?
I would say backbone I never tried the gamesir so I couldn’t give no opinion on that
i dont know why but im on the same network like it saids & when i try to connect after doing everything it requires, it keeps saying “remote play dosen’t have access to local network” like wtf else do i have to do?
Did you set your PS5 or PS4 to be primary on your PlayStation account inside the Playstation settings on console, and make sure you put your console in test mode, it can’t be turned off has to be in rest mode

Yes 🙌🏽 you can! It uses your cell phone network you just plug your phone into the controller go through the setup process, if you want all the features then you gotta subscribe to the service it’s yearly! Make sure your PS5 is setup for remote play! And download the PS Remote Play App

Bro, I’m trying to see if this is worth buying not to message and find friends, but is it good at playing video games and can I play the campaign to video games?
It’s good at playing videos games if you going to use it, with your phone to have controller support but you just gotta get use to the controller to play games. So if you using it to play PS4 or PS5 or Xbox or Apple Arcade or Apple App Store or Google Play store or Steam or etc it’s good allows it to work being connected to your phone but you just gotta get use to the controller, I had used it for Apex Legends and was dominating waiting on the new COD Mobile to come to play cross platform with console and pc but it just all depends on your games you play

Have you tried closing out the app, then going to the app store to update it, or have you tried deleting the app then re-downloading

Well if you don’t have a PS5 then you should have a PS4 for PS Remote Play and for Xbox you don’t need a Xbox you just have to sign up for Xbox Cloud Gaming or Xbox GamePass

Yeah kinda, but the app is subscriptions based to use all the features, then depends on what apps or console you have to play those games some are free and some prolly cost, but does work fine and using your phone, Version 2 works with a case on your phone but has to be slim

Copped this device and it’s not sturdy at all, broke in six weeks and now I’m locked in to a year subscription with no controller. The fix was in and their customer service sucks
Your not locked in you can cancel the subscription anytime you want, and idk how you broke it.

How is it while streaming on RUclips or twitch??
With streaming on RUclips vs Twitch it just depends on your audience, if you got a good audience on one platform might as well stay there and continue to grow, but when I streamed on RUclips it was very easy setup depends on what you are doing but I enjoy both they both were good

Nope you can play PS4 too or Xbox game pass or steam or google play or Apple Arcade whatever you want to play.

I have the Xbox backbone 1, and I have a doubt. Is there any use of the app if I don't have a console & xbox pass? Do I get to use any games that I won't get without the app subscription?

You can always use to to play mobile games I don’t got a Xbox either but I have Xbox Cloud Gaming that is free, you can use it with Steam, Amazon Luna, Nvadia, google stadia, google playstore, if you have PlayStation you can use it with PS Remote play if you got iPhone there is also Apple Arcade and many others
@@CraytonTv But the issue is xbox cloud gaming isn't available in my country. Can u please explain in detail or share a video about the other apps you told. Also when I open the backbone app most the games on their are paid on need a console to play, I thought you would get the games for free with the subscription.

Now some games are free, but depending on your mobile device you have rather it’s Android or iPhone you will have to download them from your App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and the other apps that work are Steam Link, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, Nvadia GeForce, Rainway but if you have a console you can also use Xbox Game Pass or PS Remote Play but to play their games you will need their subscription so you can get the free ones they have. Or use Xbox Cloud Gaming that is free you download it from the Internet

Sucks for ps remote play unless you are in same room as PlayStation
That’s not true, you do not have to be in the same room for PS Remote play, I have used mine all the time and not been home at all and mine worked just fine and smooth.

@@llks1772 my PS4 & PS5 stays in rest mode, so I can access it when I’m gone or on vacation & then when I’m done playing I turn it back to rest mode.. now if your system is completely off you can’t play your PlayStation but you sure don’t have to be in the same room the Playstation just need to be in rest mode & connected to the internet
