I just found your channel, your videos are amazing ❤️ I'm self taught software engineer, and the idea of working remotely just wowed me! Great content!
You are doing a great job cutting your own path, keep it going! For the next Q&A session: what is the most difficult part of working remotely compared to staying in the office? For me is that the interactions tend to be much more focused on projects with less _small talk_ , which seems to be superficial matter but in fact helps bonding with your teammates. I read that to overcome this problem during covid time, some companies are organizing videogame parties and competitions!
Helloo 😁, I just discover your channel and I’ve subscribed to it, its amazing!, thank u for making this kind of videos, very useful cause I’m going to start studying software engineering, as you. 👨💻. Keep posting vids 🤗
3:21 Being used to one screen = good skill to have. I'm so wedded to multiple external monitors that I lug portable external monitors of varying sizes with me on all my trips, which leaves... quite a footprint in my luggage. I'm excited that my next trip is a car trip partially because I get to bring the big 20" portable monitor with me that won't fit in my carry-on luggage.
Hi, i really would like to know how your tax situation is on the road while travelling. Can you make a video about where to have your residency and how to deal with the tax while working for a company ? Would be very interesting. You have nice and sometimes funny videos btw.
@@rahulshetty5366 At the moment I am still not sure if I'm comfortable talking about that in public, having a RUclips channel is still something I am getting used to and I haven't quite figured out how much information I want to share :)
Heyy there I am a student , I want to became a software engineer in Switzerland , now am in 12 class can provide me some knowledge what do next after 12 class And some tips how can join in Switzerland?
Thanks for commenting! ☺️ I have never been to Argentina but have always wanted to go! I am using Java as backend language and JavaScript for the frontend, the frontend framework we use is React.
I have 1 year of experience in software engineering ? I wanted to travel in Europe.. can I ask you if I take a job full remote like you, what salary can I except to have ? Thank you

Hmm... not quite what I was expecting on the pay. There's no way American companies pay you the same as an American employee, that defeats the purpose of hiring a foreign worker. They probably want to pay you what you would make in Mallorca or whatever home town you told them. Salaries aren't that great in Spain for SWE from what I hear. Edit: but I respect you exercising your privacy and not disclosing exactly how much you're making.
@@jflowmusic210 for me not really true. I would get paid 30% more after taxes but everything is two-three times more expensive. Working as a software dev in Germany and am lucky to have a great contract

For me, the biggest challenge of working remotely was starting a new job at a fully remote company. It took months to meet the team in person :O
