From what I understood, Imaginal Disk is a world where lives the alter ego of Mica. Her name is True Blue and what she wants is to be the best version of herself, probably because she just doesn't like who she is, maybe she had a rough past or/and she can't forgive herself for the mistakes that she did. In the world of True Blue, there is a place where you can insert a disk in your head which is basically a doctor's office. The doctor being a big red character that is responsible for the "surgery" to put a disk in your head. Once it's done, you are the best version of yourself and True Blue is really happy about it. This happiness don't last forever as she starts to regretting her old self, maybe feeling like she betrayed herself and let self-hatred take over her. This regret gets more and more place in her heart until she decides to reach for her old self definitely in a way or another. To do so, she has to face the monsters that live into her old self and to embrace them. Once it's done True Blue can return back to her real self. But it's not over because self-love is a long and hard line to cross. And to help herself getting to this point, she tries to help other people to accept and love themselves, and so True is probably proud of her achievements, she wants to inspire people and to do the best she can while still embracing her wrongs. But then why is the disk imaginary ? Because it's something we all crave for, to be the best for others and for ourselves. But it's just not possible, this disk cannot exist and even if it does, you're only putting a mask on your face, you're no more who you are (maybe still a little). I think Imaginal Disk is a world of manipulation and it shows that humans are really good at self-sabotaging and self-manipulation. When you dig deep, you realise it's a painfully relatable album. I feel like this story tells so much more but that's what I interpreted so far. Great video by the way !

this album makes me feel like im a ball of energy floating from device to device soaking up whatever is being displayed before being shined on by a light from heaven
I don't like when people compare the songs to eachother and are like "hm no don't like this one compared to the other". Every time I've listened to this I've just listened to the album from start to finish and it's all one big thing. No misses for me, as a complete piece of music it all works together and I've not compared it at all to eachother. I think I'm rambling but you feel me?
Another banger album, from start to finish, I'd say my favs are That's My Floor Cry for Me Killing Time Image Watching TV Death & Romance Love is Everywhere Fear, Sex So many great songs

Álbum of the year!
It took me a lot of listens to get this album. Like you said it’s hard to get into. But so worth it
Really like the album. I’m not sure it has a Killshot, Secrets, or Daydreaming in it though IMO. Cry for Me is probably the loudest/most energetic.
