      I can understand the cost on them but you gotta pay to play. Good luck with saving the money up. I think the HP90 would be the way to go IMO...
      One that can hold over a 1000 horsepower to give you some wiggle room etc. Once it's done it should last a long time though or go with the HP70 and keep the boost low in the 700 horsepower range and let her eat!!! Good luck on finding what trans to go with and getting it installed etc.
      I wouldn't install the A/F blocking the AC vent. It's too dam hot down there in South Florida lol but you might like the heat lol. I am not a fan of summer myself lol.

      @THINK1ST productions you hit the nail, right on it's head. "You gotta PAY to PLAY." Been telling car enthusiasts that exact saying for well over 15yrs now.
      If you can afford to step up to an HP90, that is the way. The HP90 is just a stronger option, from the start. A built HP90 will eat almost ANYTHING you throw at it. A fresh, stock HP90 will handle nearly 800wtq with a good thermostat, the largest trans cooler you can fit, and proper tuning. Keeping peak torque output later in the rpm range will also keep the transmission happy.

    • @jd440
      @jd440 2 года назад +1

      Give my good friend pat Barrett a call at Level10 transmissions. Located in Hamburg nj. I just had my nag1 trans rebuilt, and I put in a 2800 stall converter, arp bolts for the converter and an sfi approved flex plate. He did his tweaks to it and the magnum I have feels so much better than what it was doing before. I'd also look into doing a good size trans cooler as well. Apparently your stock one can't handle what all you've done with the car now. Look into a stacked style cooler that's good for no less than 30000 gvwr.

    You’re making the right call on the trans going with a HP90 trans. Might be harder to get but “only” $1,000 more than the built HP70…that’s just the drive shaft. So built HP70 vs HP90 for the same price? No brainer. That’s a tough spot to be in…part way in on the overall power increase plan with less $dough$. I hope it all pans out for you soon! Truthfully the best bet is the HP90. As far as the battery, have you replaced it yet or still the same one from when you bought the car? I ask because most batteries are doing good to give you 5 yrs of service, mechanic verified. Check the date of manufacture on the battery, if it doesn't have that sticker anymore I would get it load tested to check all of the cells. Also keep in mind with the shark fins "they" can rummage through our telemetry and other computer stuff and we are none the wiser until we try to start the car. If your Uconnect is a Nav-enabled unit Dodge could be trying to hit your car with OTA updates. That will also drain your battery.

    • @RTLife
      @RTLife  2 года назад +1

      I went to autozone & they put it through some tests. When the car was completely off there is something drawing power from the battery at a very low level. It really only started happening after the turbo install. Thinking its the boost gauge. I'm grabbing a new battery anyway - this one is 3-4 years old.

    When it comes to transmission I mean I’ve been doing this since I was 16 years old you can build any transmission to maximize 😁you don’t have to upgrade to it you know there are other parts inside the sun shell planetary the shaft torque converter etc. when I was younger when I was A Ford guy to C6 and C7 and we’re good transmissions but you can always build it these cars that we drive now are already built the standards but I ain’t got to tell you no lie I might have to be doing mine shortly at 22,000 miles

      @@RTLife you know what your getting with the HP90. A transmission designed and built to spec by a company who invested millions into it’s R&D. Even if it breaks down after 300k miles, you can always find another one.
      A ‘built’ HP70 means that someone taking apart thousands of pieces of this complex machine, and replacing some with components that are ‘supposed’ to somehow lessen the wear of pushing this transmission outside the operating scope that it was never meant to handle (which is why the HP90 exists). Then while putting everything back together; you’re praying that no nuts or bolts went missing and that everything is torqued correctly.
