note that olive oil and coconut oil are comedogenic which means they can clog your pores, never use those directly on your scalp because the clogging of your pores will cause hair loss! other than that they are great for your hair strands alone. I love using olive oil for my pre poo i apply it on my dry hair then spray. with a bit of water and put it in a shower cap or bonnet until the next day when i wash my hair and it keeps my hair so moisturized even through shampooing
This is the most informative video I have seen on natural hair since I've went natural. I had to grab a pen and paper for all the knowledge you were dropping. Thanks for really breaking it down. Great video!
Omg! You don’t know how much this has helped me! I’m newly natural and have been going crazy on oils not actually anything knowing what and why I was using them other than I saw someone’s tutorial 🤦🏽♀️I feel like I’m on a better track of successfully maintaining my natural hair! Thank you for this!
This was a much-needed video. I love it when producers such as yourself do their "HOMEWORK". You obviously put a lot of time and effort into it. I watch lots of videos but this is the type of video I give thumbs up too... Kudos and please keep them coming! Peace & Blessings. BTW, this is my first time watching you. you have a follower ...my notifications are on.
THANK YOU FOR CLEARING UP THE ESSENTIAL OILS MIXED WITH CARRIER OILS, I just got some tea tree oil and peppermint oil and i’ve used it twice on my scalp all by itself but you just saved me from a damaging mistake!!! I love jojoba oil so i’ll be using that as my carrier oil to massage my scalp
Baobab grows in my country (Cabo Verde) and we eat/drink it. Because of it's health benefits, sometimes we soak and drink it or make ice cream or even sometime alcohol beverages as a flavor.
Love it, I seem so many videos on oil for hair growth, and your the only one who explained, breaken down how to use it and what it does, thank for info
Honestly thank you soooo much for these videos! I just did my big chop and had no idea what I was doing but your videos are and have helped me to underestand so many things I didn’t know understand or had questions about. I had no idea what pre-pooing and co-washing was or why it was important and I would always have so many questions about why people use specific oils etc. anyways thanks sooo much for these your hardwork does not go unnoticed!
Thank you for the info. I used most of these oils except the Flaxseed oil. You have a new subscriber. Also, props on the details given through your research.
GOD bless you for this.. Do you know how many people you helped in the world that won’t give you credit... I am here to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time in explaining and searching up the meaning of all these oils... thank you so much! You have a brand new follower!!!!!❤️
OMG. This is the best hair oil video I've ever seen. You had so much information, the benefits & suggestions were great. I love it. I have had a serious loss of hair, itchy almost burning on my scalp, & what looks like a burn on my lower scalp. The dermatologist tested it & are not sure what it is. I'm definitely going see the video on essential oils, maybe i can find something to help. Thank you beautiful lady.
Sooo greatful for this video learned so much !! I only use black castor oil as my carrier but now I think I’ll try sunflower, flaxseed and few others !thank you ,!
omg! where have you been all my natural life!? i love, love, loveee this video. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for making this video! & part II also!!
This was SO INFORMATIONAL!! Thank you! And ma'am your teeth are SPARKLING WHITE! You know you on track with your oral hygiene when you wear a white shirt and your teeth are still gleaming white. Yaaaaas!! Great video!
I'm similar to you in the way that coconut oil works for you . I don't use it for that reason either tho lol . I use coconut oil after taking out a long term protective style like box braids because it lets the shed hair come out easier so it doesn't bother me when I'm styling afterwards , and because it clumps with any flakes or dandruff and leaves my scalp clean and moisturized . I love your videos so much and you are my RUclips hair twin because we have similar hair types , same porosity , and our hair takes in the same oils . Much love ❤️ .
Good Information. I had my notes on this before. Lost it, thanks to you back in the game. Keep the knowledge going... Thank you for sharing that knowledge. Knowledge Is King.👍🏽
my kind of girl, best hair product video i have seen to date. will wath this again and again until i find the right oil for each of my four girls and myself. thanks a million
Thank you so much for providing this informative video. I mean you were straight to the point, very knowledgeable! This is information that I need but I don't have the time to research. Thank you So much! Please keep em coming.🤩💃🏾
Love love love this video. My son has allergies and its sooo hard to find moisturizers without nut oils in it. I will be using this video to guide me in the best DIY oil mixture for my whole family. Thnx!
Ms K I used Jamaican Black Castor Oil and changed to a vegan diet. My hair grew back in 3 months. I had a huge bald spot (larger than a half dollar) . You could touch my scalp. Now my hair is about 3 inches long in that spot. It’s been about 5 months now
So I have really curly/frizzy hair. I'm the only one in my family that has this type of hair and idk how to really take care of it since everyones advice just makes my hair more frizzy. I noticed that my hair also has been falling out a lot when I take a shower. Going through a panic I was searching up everything all over the internet and your videos were the most helpful! Thank you!!
You are soooooo knowledgeable abt natural hair period. Do u do this for a living? How do u do all this research AND go to school? Thnk you 1000%.I’m loving this info and will try some of your recommendations. So helpful.
This video was so helpful, thank you! I just found your channel, and your videos are so helpful & entertaining. I didn’t even know there are different types of oils.
Yes thanks for actually giving us the tea on all the oils, its so helpful. Do you actually use these specific brands, if not any recommendations on ones you like most.
Really great and informative video! Not only packed in information but listening to you was really enjoyable! This is my first video watching of yours, but it won’t be the last! Signed, a new subbie!
Thank you for your video....your knowledge about all the different oils and their purposes is really helpful and will help me when I go and purchase oils for my hair....I SUBSCRIBED lol
Thanks Kaice, very knowledgeable! Can you provide any recommendations for male pattern baldness, particularly in a dry scalp? Thanks in advance for your thoughtful consideration!
Just came across your channel. Great video packed with information. I have high porosity hair so I’m glad you mentioned which oils are good for that. I think it will help improve the state of my hair. My hair don’t look moisturized after washing it, like it use to. I’m trying to find my moisture/protein balance. Do you have a video on this?
Very very helpful thank you. I want to try them all . Would that be like a overload?. 🤔l want to make a hot oil treatment with about 8 of them . Let me know if that is a good idea 🙂 very informative. My hair is damaged from years of perming and now I’m watch RUclips to find the best ingredients , oils and shampoos to strengthen ,moisturize and stop the breaking . Hopefully with a oil routine and deep conditioning it will do the trick. Thanks
I can only use oils as a prepoo. My hair hates when I leave an oil in it. I can get away with leaving a very small amount of coconut oil in it or just on the ends but the time is limited.
Your video about carrier oils has really helped educate me on the carrier oils that are best for my low porosity hair. I have heard that tea rinses are very good for hair shedding. Would green tea supplements also help with shedding hair?
Yess girl you did your research! Thanks for sharing, this was very helpful. I'm also the type that wants to know the benefits of most of the products we use in our hair.
This video was simply amazing! Very informative you've earned yourself a new subbie and my hair is high porosity as well. Keep up the goid wirk sweetie!

Yess girl you did your research! Thanks for sharing, this was very helpful. I'm also the type that wants to know the benefits of most of the products we use in our hair.
I know castor oil is super good for hair and scalp but am I the only one who feel that it is just too thick and sticky? 🙁
Yah it's pretty thick so I use a little bit to massage my scalp every other day
i find it's best to mix it with other oils
Me too
I love it on my beard
Yes but if you dilute it with something like grapeseed or jajoba oil it will still give you the benefit
Thank you for all the research put into these videos!
This video was simply amazing! Very informative you've earned yourself a new subbie and my hair is high porosity as well. Keep up the goid wirk sweetie!
