Surviving The First Week | 7 Days To Die 1.0 Console Tutorial Gameplay Day 1

Welcome to my tutorial gameplay series for 7 Days To Die Console Version 1.0, the new console version is out and I will be on PS5 and I am using the controller - the game also game out on Xbox. It's day 1, episode 1 and I will show how to survive the first day using these hints, tips and tricks I've picked up in my experience playing the game. Featuring actual console gameplay with an actual controller!

Nice newbie guide. New players be careful how much you dig early on, exertion increases your hunger.

This is true, worth keeping an eye on although there is generally enough food between vending machines, random chickens and POI looting to keep you fed day to day until you unlock the bacon and eggs. I just find it so much better to be productive over night Vs standing around doing nothing. It means I get to have a pretty big cobble horde base and get to spend all of the day time doing fun questing stuff!

I just remember being a console player and finding it hard to find people playing on console to watch on YT, so thought at the very least I'd throw out a 7 parter to test interest levels

You could have dipped your toe into the wasteland and got a Survivor challenge done for 5,000 EXP.

I also started on console yrs and yrs ago. I've always hated controller and after I bought game to PC I havn't played console. My 10yrs old son is playing 7 days on PS4 atm

I prefer keyboard and mouse too, but as this is a 7 part series about surviving the first week on console, the vast majority of players this is aimed at will be playing using a controller so I thought it was only right that I use a controller for this series.

I did, you can see I was in the Wasteland right at the start and redeemed the 5000 XP from the challenge menu at 27:24
