Great honest review! I'm going to pass on the Super Hero line (except for Gohan) as the older figures still hold up for me. I just think Bandai is really reaching the bottom of the barrel, reusing these dated parts/joints. Maybe also explains why they're reissuing a lot more figures recently? Hope all of this means we're near the end of the 2.0 line.
I think Vegeta here was more necessary than Goku simply because there’s never been an easily obtainable base Vegeta. And I personally love the dark blue, contrasts really well with the blue on the official Majin Vegeta.
I was gonna skip this release, but once I saw it using the broly movie heads, changed my mind! now I can display both heads : D plus he's my favorite character and only 35 usd, not bad! as always man! amazing review!

To me, Superhero Vegeta would work very well as a Buu Saga Vegeta, even more than Majin Vegeta considering that the Buu Saga is when the art style changed to give him less massive hair and his outfit is a much more darker blue just like in Z.
Honestly the majin vegetas proportions always threw me off. I’m not sure if it was the size of the head or if it was the fact that his torso looked really thin. But I’m really excited to get this figure and use the kong majin head for my Majin Vegeta.

Hoping for an official 3.0 majin vegeta. The official release was such a disappointment, still have it displayed with my majin saga characters but its too light blue and shiny and too skinny. Also where the hell is kid buu lol also how noticeable is the arm color difference on the forearm?

You have a couple of options including this one. The Namek arc Vegeta 24000, and the second version Saiyan arc Vegeta. If you don’t mind going even further back, there is the original Saiyan arc Vegeta too
Almost 2 years late to the party on this one but after just recently getting this Vegeta after getting the ASSB recolor, its a really good figure. What ive honestly done was take the feet off the ASSB and put them on the Super Hero Vegeta body along with drilling a hole for a halo in both the base and saiyan head, this makes for a great Buu saga/ Fusion Reborn Vegeta! I still have the ASSB body as well for whenever i wanna pop the feet back on and display him as the Cell saga variation

When I got my first Vegeta I thought I got a bugged copy because of that ankle, but nope that was just the norm for every Vegeta body lol. Not a fan of the faces on this one at all,, but the other heads do look great on it if you want another body at a good price.
i have like 15 sh figurarts i opened posed them for like 1 month, put them back in box and never touched them again to my surprise, many of them inflated in prices as for vegeta, i have scouter and majin vegeta, oh and apparently i have ssgss vegeta as well with the red hair too
How is it that all the much cheaper Dragon Stars Vegeta iterations (except their first wave) look far more accurate in the hair and face than these S.H.Figuarts sculpts? Even the Dragon Stars Goku sculpt gives S.H.Figuarts a good run for their money.
Bro I’m sorry but I had scouter dragon stars vegeta and it was garbage and pegs broke within a week 😢 unfortunately even though they aren’t perfect, SHF can’t be compared to dragon star line

Cool seeing the movie acknowledge how Gohan had the ability to surpass Goku and Vegeta if he actually tried lol. It was tons of fun seeing him and pan try to bring that out of him. And piccalo trying to make Gohan a better father than Goku was lol
because they knew no matter what face sculpt you put on vegeta, people are still going to buy it and they knew they have to give goku brand new faces to avoid decrease in sales..i mean, goku fans like me will not buy that new goku if the faceplates are just repaints of the old mold..for me, the one and only reason im buying it is because of the smirking face.. :) infairness to the vegeta figure, it has new torso, but the smirking face looks horrible same with tien(1st version) and the 2.0 ssj vegeta..

I never knew 2.0 Scouter Vegeta had different shoulders from the other 2.0 Vegetas. Are the biceps any different?

I figured it out. His eyes are too far apart. If you look at the crease in between his eyebrows you’ll see that the gap is much wider
