The chest is a lighter color because Goku usually wears a shirt and SHF is representing his tan lines. It calls attention to how he usually is not shirtless and it's business time and/or it's sexy time

The chest thing is so weird. With my copy, to the naked eye you couldn't tell the difference, but it shows plainly in photos, so I'm guessing it's just the way cameras capture light and how they penetrate certain materials? Regardless, this is easily top-tier Figuarts Dragon Ball, coming with anything and everything he should have for the price point. I also ended up doing the thing you mentioned, and added some light shading and colouring in the scratches sculpted in the body with real touch and fine point gundam markers. It came out decently well, and elevates the figure quite a bit in my eyes. Speaking as someone who's fairly meh on Frieza, this release instantly made me wanna go back and pick up the Final Form version, plus the 100% power coming up!
Also, great review, of course! Clear and concise, and with a positive energy that comes off as genuine, rather than a personality put on for the camera.

I'm no expert, but my theory is that; the reason why they don't add the dark lines on the super-form figures is because it's supposed to subtly suggest a "glowing" effect. But IDK. Speaking of customizations though; you should what some modders out there have done with the power-effects and a few LEDs! It's AMAZING!! ; )

Because of how tv and programs are today, anime is being considered as a kids cartoon (if it airs in tv before the hour they play adult shows normally) around the time Super came out they aren’t allowed to show any form of blood, no limbs being cut off, etc. And Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was the first time in a long time where they showed blood and piccolo’s arm being cut off

Yikes! Some people use clear nail polish or glue on the joints and then move them while it dries so it doesn’t solidify. There’s also a thing called Kiki’s joints
The only DragonBall figure I would love to get would be Super Boy Future Simple Trunks. He got the sword because he’s edgy and all that.
But I’m aware of its QC issues so hopefully there will be a re-release addressing that.

I love calling the hands for the blast effects “blasty-do” and the ones without the peg hole “blasty-don’t’s” also I think the white on the ki ball is supposed to be like were the ki is pulsing through his hands to make the ball great review as always

Thankfully in natural light I don't find the chest skin colour to be perceivably different to the rest of his body. Photos and strange lighting are trickier though

I believe the headpiece with the one bang is from a manga panel where his hair gets blown back by Frieza's blast to destroy Namek. The one without bangs is, like you said, when he's powering up or flying.
