When Anthony's Customs was bashing this figure nitpicking things and claiming "this is why it's no going on my top ten." I honestly thought he was high. This is hands down one of the best DBZ figuarts, period. Thanks for an actual sensible review man.
I respect his opinion as he’s good at what he does. However, sometimes he feels the need to hate something that everyone likes a lot. He went out of his way to add a magical criterion like “looks bad in photos” and didn’t even bother to pose him properly in the end. The figure isn’t a 10 for like 70 USD + tax. (The chest color decision and lack of shading on the skin hold it back. Would’ve loved a kamehameha beam vs. the usual effect, and an extra normal head.) But damn, this is the closest we’ve gotten to a perfect release from this line - aesthetics, solidity, and articulation considering.
The shading on the front, but not the back, damn, that's a total Hasbro move. Lol. I watched some DBZ back in the day, and I think I'll definitely have to pick this up, if I pass, I'm sure it'll go up. This is the best swole Goku review by far.
I ordered wrong and just got a special effect aura, a Goku head and Kamehameha wave with stands. Just ordered that figure and i cant wait for it to come! Im a 33 year old man and proud! 😂
Solid investment imo. Price will go up within a year, but it could be longer. I usually buy a few and sell them and keep one to display. I sold my other awakened goku and scooped this one up quick. Now tempted to buy more 😅

G5 Luffy is mid of 2024, and he’s a general release also. This figure has a higher likelihood of going out of stock by then, as it’s super popular atm. Who knows there could be a re-release soon to satisfy the demand if that happens! Bandai did that with SS4 Goku. More on G5 Luffy, people are skeptical about the bendy wires on his limbs. So until the reviews come out to address quality/longevity concerns, I wouldn’t expect a huge demand for him.
Thank God I'm definitely getting this fig now I was holding off to see if the face was annoying like ssj4 but now I know it doesn't he's probably gonna be my favorite fig when I get him

As someone who also has this fig i can confirm that the chest being differently colored is barely noticeable. ( it also helps that im colorblind 💀)
