It’s the old throw in a hat accessory and call it a brand new release trick! I fell for it before and I’ll fall for it again! I mean it’s pretty damn good looking hat, head sculpt, 2 head sculpts and you guys know I’m a sucker for good head! Sorry children, had to slip that one in.
To be fair this is much more than a just a reuse with a new head sculpt! It’s a reuse with again let me reiterate a reall reall really good new head sculpts that also comes with this gorgeous looking packaging and mini encyclopedia or figupedia featuring all the sh Figuarts dragon ball releases to date!
Like the VJump Toyotaro edition Super Saiyan Blue Goku, the box art was drawn by non other than Mr Dragon ball super himself, Toyotaro. And whether you love him or hate him, I have to admit, he draws a prettydarn good looking Goku!
But unlike the VJump exclusive, this is slightly more accessible to the international public, being a general Premium Bandai Web exclusive, so you should be able to pick it up on big bad toy stores, in fact I’m sure of it! Albeit at a jacked up price, but I’ll have the link in the description if you need it! Although it might be sold out.

Gahh, can't wait for mine! I love new hats! I also love that the faceplates don't have scratches this time so I can use them on a "clean" Goku body. No need for a picture, but any chance you can check to see how the new faceplates' skin tones match with the Super Hero Goku body?

While I’m not a fan of that windy hair personally and wish he was a completely new figure (or at least more new parts like a new belt piece to distinguish it from the other more), I do have to say the more I look at it the more it grows on me. Not much of a fan of Toyotaros Super art but this figure looks really neat and the faces and hair are definitely better than the first. I’m sticking with my TKDIY MUI but this one is really clean

The reissue SSG has Dark orange and the original first SSG has like a neon Orange color
whenever I pose/play with my figures and my cat is around, he always demands to smell the figure. thinks i have food. 😅half-heartedly kicking myself for missing this preorder since the book/box look really cool even though I'm not super into the look and fine/prefer the original. but ill live. 😄
toyotaro draws the manga very well. i like the slimmer looking UI goku
You can take the legs of the original body, and take the upper body of the ssj god, a perfect combination

I dislike Toyataros art work but just bought it because I’m a fan of DB and it’s something new and exclusive especially the booklet now I can see what figures I’m missing even though I already have majority of them except the 1.0 but I’m more interested in the 2.0s
Thinking about getting the original since it's literally the stronger version, but one could say the fight with Morrow he was stronger in the comic. I just winded up settling for the 3-in version of masted ultra instinct because I mostly have both size figures.
Still waiting on that Demoniacal Fit Base 3.0 Goku review!, I really love this headsculpt unfortunately the body isn't accurate to the artwork and a missing charging kamehameha effect but still not too shabby, the headsculpt itself really works with the blue shirted body since it has slimmer arms which represents Manga MUI initial appearance in Manga version of the TOP which is more slimmer while later on in the Moro, Granolah and the latest chapter of DBS Manga MUI is Buff and a side note the SSG Body represents Toriyama Concept artwork just minus the hair style since it's a just a white hair SSG, I would love to more Manga versions of forms like SSB, SS Rose or even True Ultra instinct which he used against Gas (Spoilers for those who haven't read the manga yet)
true ultra instinct is just ui sign visually, if you want manga rosé you can just get dl customs' heads
People want this to be a 3.0 body just because the 3.0 is the newest body even though it wouldn't fit. I really like the way this figure looks and I am completely fine with the fact that it's 2.0
you can make them fit if you create custom pegs, not too hard tbh

Odd they changed the neck and peg, is it still a hinge or is it the double ball joint now? I have the same plan as you, use the windswept head on this body and the other one with a standard body.
It’s a hinge with ball peg but for some reason it’s a little bigger than the other 2.0 bodies. You couldn’t tell just by looking at it but when I tried the head swaps, they just wouldn’t fit.
The neck itself is a little more muscular, a little thicker than the original

They look good, but there is a large gap between the top of the face and the hairline. Had the same issue with the new Legendary SSJ Goku

Quick Questions. Can you swap the upper half of the body of the Super Sayian Blue Kaioken Vjump EE Goku and put it on this? Also, can you put the neck peg of this body on the EE Kaioken body? Then, can you put the arms of this body on the EE body?

Yes! I have the new phase two clone! It’s great! A step up from the not so newer version and better than the Ali express clones

You can make it less visible. Just push it all the way in and you’re good. I was filming so I didn’t really take too much time or care in getting everything sit flush

The new sculpt isn't just more accurate to Toyotaro, they're just more accurate to both anime and manga goku overall

Not really, you just have to push it all the way in. I’m trying to get film everything as quick as possible so I might have been a little loose with the heads
