I love how literally everything that doesn’t go David’s way is just reacted to like a mere inconvenience.
thats how you roll brother. its like "oh fuck. my leg. goddammit" next move, murder everyone
Interesting mindset if you adapt it to yourself...makes you tougher...after all the guy was military
That's how you have to be if you want to be a SOF guy. You don't stop until your heart stops
@@vaiwalker don’t use that “god…” It’s Not Respectful To Use God’s Name In Vain! Much Love Brother!
@@tylercampbell1186 on IMDb it explains why David is so detached and the truth behind the experiments he did under Lance Reddick’s character
RIP Mr. Reddick. 🥺😢 He’s been a great Charon in John Wick. He also be Zeus in the Percy Jackson Disney+ series and he filmed the John Wick spin off, Ballerina.
Not to forget Fringe...sensational actor
Bro he was such a gentleman 🥺
The Wire too.
He's also in Destiny and tons of other great games. RIP 🙏🙏

That one bearded guy is in every action movie these days, he's like a go to henchman
Tate fletcher!!
That guy might be Trejo of our generation.
@@stefciok he’s a fuckin cool guy I believe he’s either been on Joe Rogan’s or Joey Diaz’s show.
He’s the “Hector” for bearded special ops guys
Has his own personal body bag
2:00 LOL. His reaction pretty much convinced me that this might be worth seeing just for Stevens' performance.
In real life as soon as you saw that fucking belt fed weapon you would have hit the floor so damn quick, rather than take just another second to display to the people trying to shoot you that you don't approve of what they are doing.
It is funny but not something you want to do or you might not want anything ever again.
To clarify, your brain cannot process all that information coming in by milliseconds so training is supposed to make up for that. Training kind of fills in all the gaps to help you fight better is the best way I can put it
@@tylercampbell1186 some stuff is purely reaction tho right? I was a soldier but never fired in anger but it was silly stuff like we were on a break an just bouncing one of them softball sized bouncy balls an I wasn't even involved in the game an the ball bounced of a wall real close wizzed past my ear an before I even realised I'd done it my left hand was up behind me an just caught this ball 6 inch from a female I was trying to bangs nose , I mean obviously its a completely different situation but my brain reacted a second before me, the training certainly quickens up our reflexes.
But yep when the big boy auto comes out my only thought would have been "drop" my second would have been ok im defo dead now😆
In fact I wouldn't have even thought "drop" i think I would have dropped as I'm thinking "faaaaak"
@@tylercampbell1186 it’s a “B movie” with hilarious moments
One of the only movies where you root for the villain, underrated film.
I did root for him until he stabbed that lady.
you must not watch many movies
*Waves* -Payback
I think he’s more of an antihero
Same thing with “Law Abiding Citizen”.
R.I.P. Lance Reddick! You shone brightly and you won’t be forgotten. He was great in Fringe, The Wire, Bosch, John Wick films …. The Continental will never be the same 😉
2:00 Doesn't matter how you view this movie. This is dark comedy at its best in this one part. Also his face of " Come on..."
I love these type of villains in these type of movies. Fearless, manipulative, 3rd dimension character arcs, and most of all... Badass!
4:27 those effects lol
Omfg lol
You know I never noticed it was that bad until this comment. For their budget most of the effects looked great
How that guy fell down and said, "Oh sh**" was so funny
I found it funny too
This was an homage to 80s action movies. The synth soundtrack reminds me of The Terminator
The sounds of those gun shots 👌🏼😍🔥
Haha that mattress is the real MVP. What stopping power 😂
After all it was a Army guy bed
Don't matter that dude is programmed to kill people even after getting mortally wounded lol that's the point of this movie dude was not going to stop all those guys were dead no matter what they brought
make sure not to shoot towards the floor . . leave him room to crawl.
If he were to shoot toward the floor then all he would do is hit the floor in the first few rooms. He'd have to also be laying down if he wanted to hit him
@@dundundada : Good point!?
If they had shot towards the floor, movie would have ended right there. Then you'd be pissed why they made such short movie. LOL
Well closer to the floor level you got more material bordering the wall like pipes, beams, electrical wiring and all that though aiming at the ground would just make bullets ricochet upwards or going into the basement lol.
Roger Scott Cathey
fuck the walls and the bed! He was shot twice, in the right leg 0:55 , after it, he was able to stand up on it 1:53 , and in his stomach 2:31 ! and after it, he escaped! he is a superhero
His expressions are priceless.
Thank you for the video. Have a great day.
I really enjoyed how the soundtrack was used in this scene, it gives out different feeling than other movies
You gotta love all these ''tacticool experts'' who watch too much Garand Thump and criticise an action-horror movie, that is a hommage to 80's action & horror movies and is about a failed super-soldier who goes rogue, because ''muh realism''. The main character is literally like a more psychotic version of the Winter Soldier, minus the metal arm.
It genuinely upsets me. This is an outstanding movie given its low budget and these keyboard warriors clearly don't understand its just a movie and that not everything involving guns needs to be ultra-realistic. The amount of people here that unironically criticize how unrealistic the special forces team operate and the bullet effects is pretty pathetic.
@@LethalByChoice I can understand both opinions clearly, yours or these who don´t like the gun work in this movie. I don´t think that insulting other opinion, that is different is good, but whatever
I know right? I love how gun nuts use clips from action films to show off how much they know about guns in a desperate attempt to look cool.
@@somanytakennames very true
even as a gun nerd I really liked this. these other guys are either mall ninjas or with a 1% chance someone who actually held a real gun
Wish they'd make a part 2 with flashbacks of what exactly the program was and how it mentally effected David and his motives.
I like it 👌

But this looks like an ass show/film anyways
Well, i dont know how to tell you all this...this isnt real. Its fake, theyre not real guns and they're just actors. Which does mean the bullets arent real too, Sorry to tell you.
I Swear horror movies should be more action-packed like this some of them at least.
Sean Collins try with Wolf Creek 2
If your able to fight off a threat in a movie it's a action movie. Horror movies involve being the victim.
The YoPancake Show you tweaking
Sean Collins the fact that you said “horror movies” makes me need to see the trailer
The last 30 minutes of this movie are action-packed, but the rest is soo slow and boring. And I just didn’t care at all for David. I don’t like this movie sorry, isn’t action packed

Intentional choice by the director to mimic 80s and 90s action movies. Watch the movie and you'll understand. If you still dont understand afterward then there is no hope for you.
Congratulations to you and all the people that liked your comment on missing the entire theme of the movie.

I have just seen this movie. this movie is absolutely masterpiece the makers and specially lead actor Dan stevens has done remarkable job he did splendid acting i thoroughly enjoyed this movie specially the ending was super awesome.

0:57. Nice realistic noise
Woah this scene is awesome!
There are those who can see Luke as a rat, but what if he said all this to confirm a theory, if Kristen were to die, he would confirm that David did indeed do everything he and Luke just talked about. This movie is all on interpretation, and thats what makes it awesome, it lets the movie be what you want it to be.
I didn't particularly care abt the parents but the actress plays the frightened Mrs Peterson so well.

Good ol cheesy flick. Thanks for upload
Wot are we supposed to root for the guy who stabs an innocent woman?
Ross Egan ..... I’m guessing , the “program” people, were going to hurt / kill the family. Or he had to do it out of protection. They knew to much. Had cover his tracks. ( just like their son David would do to another family)
Saying sorry doesn't make it right. I have no sympathy for him. He had no need to involve any of these innocent people knowing he would have to kill them. When the kid stabs him In the end i would've stabbed him a 3rd time n then picked the pistol up "dont worry David. I dont feel bad." Then shoot that fucker twice in the chest and once in the head. They shouldve killed him in the labs after they programmed him. N like he shouldve gotten revenge on the programmers n shit seeing as he has full knowledge of everything going on and is coherant/ aware. Use the skills against them. Instead he kills innocent people. If ppl root for him that just shows how sad my generation is. No morals or values.
Zachary Jackson .... I think he went rouge / AWOL. what ever program he was in obviously was a government program to make killers ( probably brain washing to not care about human killing ) so it turned a few marbles loose in his brain. he was stuck in between 2 realities.
@@zacjackson702 XD you wouldn't do jack shit.

Great shootout of this movie
1:42 His reaction after getting shot in the foot 😂
I thought it was common knowledge, even for henchmen, that in a fire team, some shoot, the others hold back till the shooters have to reload, then the team shifts a.s.o. to keep up the fire? all of them emptying their mags at the same time would cost the whole team a all nights run at any military base.
Shoot, move, communicate.
This scene pays homage to the those 80s action movies...so theres really no point of criticizing it lol
I thought it was common knowledge that a movie is a movie, not real life. Maybe stop watching so much Garand Thumb and taking everything involving guns and military in fiction so seriously? This movie never claimed to be realistic. It's very clearly a homage to 80s action movies. Real experts (such as special operations guys) don't criticize movies like this nearly as much as you do anyway, because they understand its fiction.
Chill.
@@LethalByChoice who is Garand Thump?. And I never claimed to be a special anyone. Just a drafted DK Navy..
But from your standpoint no movie can ever be criticised as its always “just a movie”.
You're gonna tell me they have all of these fancy guns, but no flash bangs nor grenades...?
There was the girl inside
this movie makes you wonder if he's a good guy or a bad guy. I mean it's just really hard to tell even though he's killed some good people, but the Military program he and Caleb were in was probably something more than we think or know. the military mercenaries in this scene was probably killing others that were in the same program and David was probably one of the last remaining military supersoldiers that was in the program. I know because on one scene were the military and the major has stated the subject. that makes you wonder a lot about this whole situation about David, not only he's killed people but because he and Caleb was in some sort of special military program.
@The BlackHeart Because he was "programmed" or thought to cover his tracks the moment he was exposed, hence killing their mom in this scene the moment her tone changed from confusion to questioning his story.
I think his parents knew what the program was. But the kids didn’t see he killed the. Cop who was gonna tell them what he was in in. They clearly saw he was alive and he just left them.
Tanner Beers00 nobody knew what the program was. That’s the whole point of the mercenaries trying to kill him. They are covering their tracks.
Legendxinxhd 06 but he only killed the mother and father because he did it because he felt he compromised.
Tanner Beers00 and? That doesn’t mean they know about the program.
Does anyone know the name of these background instrumentals? Very action packed...
they're by Steve Moore. he actually appears in the film very briefly playing cards with Craig stevemoore2600.bandcamp.com/album/the-guest-original-motion-picture-score
He’s better than Bond 😎
Give me 15 seconds of cover.
Gets 3 seconds of cover.
Would have looked better if they just used blanks, cheaper than all the fake muzzle flashes as well. But it's still some great work
Agent Soshi nah, none of those bullets wouldn’t make it through 3 layers of walls. A actual swat unit or anyone with a gun and some common sense wouldn’t spray their mags down at a house like that knowing the person getting shot st has a arisen of guns too. Those look like concrete walls and I’m pretty certain the bullets wouldn’t exit the interior walls in a straight line too, so In theory if it was a wooden house the bullets woulda 100% shredded the shit out of that place and killed them both
@@vertex2g795 bullets wont make it through stucco, foam, insulation and drywall? Mmm I'd have to disagree.
