Fun fact I worked at a video shop and this film was one of the last dvds we got, ahhhh those were better times, thats something these younger ones wont get to experience, going to your local video shop on a friday night with your family and picking a whole bunch of films and popcorn and drinks, then we actually used to sit down as an actual and watch multiple films together in the same room...Im so gld I got to experience a childhood like that.
@roems6396 It is crazy, how fast times change, we went from Napster to iTunes to Spotify. We went from cinemas, to video shops to live streaming. Technology has advanced beyond anything I thought it would be. Plus more
@@cesar_yf2637 Sadly, technology has made our lives worse, not better. The few who truly run the world have a great tool to foment anger and dissatisfaction. They point the people at each other and say, “this other half is your enemy,” so they are too busy with each other to look at the true problem at the heart of government corruption. Meanwhile, they distract the younger generation into not caring. Maybe that a little too bleak of an outlook, but it really seems to be the case these days.
For me, I actually liked the use of shaky cam and fast cuts in this film. Just enough to keep the action frantic and frenetic without completely losing focus on what's going on. Pretty underrated. I miss when Ryan Reynolds did more serious roles like this. He's a good actor, which is a fact people often forget because he just plays the same character more often than not in flicks where he's meant to be the funny guy.
I don’t think shaky cam and quick cuts are inherently bad. They are just overused to make up for the lack of fighting ability in actors. If there is a good choreographer, and athletic actors, then these things can be done to enhance the fight without distracting from it.
His "serious" films are always flops. Hollywood found what worked for him and now he's stuck in that same role. This kind of stuff like serious action thrillers and family dramas wasn't working for him.
An example of why Reynolds needs to stop doing bad joke characters and do more quality roles. Another is "Woman in Gold" where he acted alongside (and kept up with) the legendary Helen Mirren.
This movie is a great example of Ryan not being funny but still being amazing on screen.
Well said
Just like the movie "Life"
@yevtushenka agreed but he died a lil too early but still solid.
It's like the Hitman's Bodyguard, only with no comedy and more brutality.
And I'm all for it.

It’s crazy how many “normal” things people under 15 will never experience.

Ryan is so good in dramatic roles as he is in comedy such a good actor man
Next time maybe shake the camera even more and add some quick cuts, because we could almost see what was going on during the fight scene.

Deadpool versus Rick Flagg. Rick still goes
we got reynolds, denzel and robo cop in one scenes, sweet!
lets not forget the cornel from edge of tomorow!
This is my favorite fight scene in cinema.
Thumbing hammers down on guns with decockers is aweessoomeee.....
ryan is very funny but put him back in more full-on serious roles

Only movie hes ever done where he puts his acting skills to use!

Pretty realistic fight, it’s still Hollywood but as far as Hollywood fights go, pretty good
Is that Deadpool, Rick Flag and Greasy Bear all in in the same movie?
Creasy Bear.
the Equalizer

Deadpool jokes hurt my sensitive feelings too 😭😭
@@cosmicatma17 Sorry about that, but I wasn't joking. Deadpool and movies like it are trash that Reynolds is way too talented for.

What an amazing scene. Damn
Dude flipped the script on Ryan once that Mint Mobile phone started to buzz
Col. Rick Flag vs Deadpool
I don’t know why but I was waiting for something funny from Ryan😂😂😂😂
One his best movies
I was going to make a Deadpool joke, but I didn't
Ryan shows stress like I do.
And an appreciation of women.
Lol what? Do you know the guy?
@tscheuer111in No, I just have the sense or emotion he expresses under stress. And he has a Trophy wife.
@@jerroldkazynski5480weird flex bro but ok
and the Rick Flag died just like 5:21 that, just a thought 🤣
Takeshi Kovacs nearly ghosted Wade Wilson there.
I'd have bet a dollar on Takeshi Kovacs winning that one.
What's the movie name please??🙏🙏🙏
Safe house
Senseless.
Hi Bob!
Talk about a bad day.
Why did he attack Ryan
Because half of his fellow CIA agents were on the take from very bad people
Mc Coin team up with Deadpool
Pathetic, unrealistic, Fake fight scene.
Cuz you could do better right? 🥱🥱
I can't take him serious.
No one cares
