Other than the first question I knew the others, although some of my answers were different from yours. Historians have written essays and books about why King Philip attacked England, how Elizabeth maintained power and why Elizabeth is called Gloriana (for the latter one book is Roy Strong’s Cult of Elizabeth’ which explores the iconography surrounding Elizabeth). Those are not questions with simple answers.
@@tudorworldhistorychannel3955 Fair enough, but I think some of the questions were not trivia but almost university topics with no right answer. The only problem is I am not sure that a lot of people read anymore. I saw one person referring to another RUclips channel as the source of knowledge. I can’t criticise- I have one wall of of books in my bedroom, but these days I tend to surf the Net these days rather than read.🥺
Like most subjects, the answer is not simple and multi-faceted. For example, Elizabeth did not give her famous 'I am King's cub' at Tilbury - until at lease a week after the event!
16 out of 20.
Not too bad for an American.
She was an amazing woman.
should have been multiple choice like your Henry VIII one
Shakespeare coming up - multiple choice!

As previously mentioned, these are short videos and we hope encourages the watcher to investigate the finer points for themselves.

12. Duke of Anjou
Missed the one about the priest hunter
I think Phillip's real reason for the Armada was that he was ticked off that Elizabeth wouldn't marry him and let him stay King Consort of England.
