About e-brake cables - you named ends wrong way the round "prong" thingy goes to lever and the one with hole goes to caliper. It also seems like your calipers are missing the little holder bracket for e-brake cables. If I'm not mistaking part no. 43247-SH3-931.
Yes I know it uses a pin (I own ek with disk swap in back) ,but it uses bracket a bit further back (to hold the cable shielding or what you call it) to caliper so it stays stationary while using e-brake, just google the part number I posted :)
Bro I'm only two minutes in and that same bracket is the one I found two weeks ago! They are local to me here in wa so when I order the owner said he will just meet up with me! I'm gonna finish watching your vlog now lol
I've ordered a 4040 proportioning valve for the conversion but received a 3040 ? can I still do the conversion without risking my soon to be rear brakes locking up on me ? The prop valve is from a 93 Honda civic si that came stock with rear disc brakes so that's assuring , but I'd rather be on the safe side rather than having to find out the hard way
I just bought some but they look diffrent for eg hatch well should all be same but dont have those welding grooves and other circle on top why that ? Did they make new version of em or set up
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I'm trying to finish my first project Honda Civic EJ9 "00/ K20Z4 swap. Trying to make the conversion brakes. It is very hard to find in European region parts from Honda Integra DC2... (TA with hubs 5x114,3) Until today, I did not know there is such a solution .. Unfortunately, I see Scarebird don"t deal with Europa and european models. I try to do them, as I did with engine mounts EKK2 Hasport Greetings from Belgrad, Serbia
I'm ordering all my parts after New Years so I can't wait to use your video as a guide thanks bro
Was suppose to install them today but the rain, so sad haha. And stay tuned for it!
rockauto for life!!!!
So glad I found the site!!
i guess that we're lucky, the facelift GLi trim ek1 civics (hatch, sedan) in Australia have ek4 brake setups from factory. direct bolt on.
You guys are haha!
always pulling upgrades out the hat good shit man👍
+Sal Delacruz thanks man
One tip make sure your calipers already bring the banjo bolts
would you happen to know what year integra calipers you need for an ek disk conversion?
the right prop valve for the doing this the right way is to use one off of a DA Integra

+Jezus Christ my bad and my calipers aren't missing a bracket, it uses a pin to connect the ebrake cable

+Jezus Christ oh haha, I'll look into it right now 👌 thanks!

Bro I'm only two minutes in and that same bracket is the one I found two weeks ago! They are local to me here in wa so when I order the owner said he will just meet up with me! I'm gonna finish watching your vlog now lol
Nice man! And thank you!
Hi Tommy, do you really need to change your brake lines or are you just changing them? Thanks
Did those parking brake cables work? Also they say you need yo replace the master for the 1 inch bore and proportioning valve.
Need a new prop valve for better brake distribution?
+DehTastic already running a 40/40! Upgraded it long ago before this channel haha
LATOMMYLA which one are you running? I've been trying to research which one to run. I have an ex too but everyone says to upgrade it.
+DehTastic running LX, if you go to Honda, SI,LX, and DX all use the same prop valves
LATOMMYLA awesome good to know my dude thanks.
What year model integra calipers did you use?
Hoses for what OEM vehicle? I guess hoses arent important unless they are custom made?

Would the splash guard behind the rotor fit just like the teggy trailing arm ones have them?
Im not too positive on that one
Where did you get the bracket to the caliper for the parking brake cables?
What do you call that brackets you used and where did you buy it..
Why did you choose the Integra rotors and caliper over em1 rotors and caliper?
will that bracket fit on my 91 hatch? id love to be able to use my stock trailing arms!!
going to look clean af👌you changing proportion valve?
Thanks man, and its already been changed awhile back before I started making videos.
LATOMMYLA can't wait for the video, keep up the vids
Thanks!
Where did you ordered the calipers?
I'm going to guess that the brackets go in where the recessed part of it faces in.
+REAMS 2 yes sirr
LATOMMYLA nice. Looking forward to the install video. That way I can follow it if I decide to do it to my EX

What's the best prop valve?
Hey! Where did you buy your front and rear hubs??
I just bought some but they look diffrent for eg hatch well should all be same but dont have those welding grooves and other circle on top why that ? Did they make new version of em or set up
They probably made it like that for the EG, but who knows! As long as they work and do its job then your good!
DO you need e brake cables for both sides of the back disc brakes ?
Yes you do, the ebrake cables on the drums are different
How much was it for the jaccs wrap?
you should do a spoon wrap or vinel lol
Can you write correct site address where I can get parts that you used for conversion..(brackets)
Dejan from south Europa
Thanks...
