  • Welcome to my update video on my home cockpit of an Airbus A320. I am pleased to share an update of the sim working with the Fenix A320 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The build uses mobiflight as well as other bits of various software. It’s coming together well.
I hope you enjoy the video. Any questions; please leave them in the comments and I will do my best to answer them.
    Thank you for watching!

Hello my friend (from UK also). I think your videos are amazing, very informative and loving the tutorials. Would you be so kind to make a video showing your ecam switching panel and autobrake panel a little closer and/or how you made it. I am following you with my own build. Amazing work. Thank you so much. Alex

@@NoNameUK hello Alex, thank you for your comment! I am planning to do another update video soon which should cover the latest additions to the sim, things like the CPDLC/DCDU and pedestal box and fittings, I will cover the ECAM switching panel too and will take a look at the AutoBrake panel too for you. Should hopefully get around to it this week sometime. Cheers, Sam

That's nice! But you should invest in more screens!

Thank you, yes I have an ultrawide 49” monitor to replace the front window view - just needs unboxing and plugging in and should then have a good size view :)

Do you use the RMP from Opencockpits with the FENIX? Roar from Oi4FS told me it is not possible. Can you explain me please?

@@jeffreyvdl1177 hi yes I use the Opencockpits RMP with the Oi4FS software and Fenix. The Fenix uses the default MSFS config for Sioc in the Oi4FS folder so all I did was copy and paste the ssi script into the default sioc ini I think and then when you load the Fenix, load up Oi4FS and it will work right away. I can’t be any clearer as it was a while ago I set it up but yes the panel definitely works with Fenix using a bit of tweaking

Hi, Where are you get the over head panel or you build by yourself?
    Thank you for response!

@@maxnasimov hello, thank you for your comment. The overhead panel is completely scratch built. The panels are made individually, 1:1 size and from wood. They then were drilled and painted before having the text placed using small vinyl lettering stickers. A long process but looks the part now. The switches are just basic switches off eBay, heavy duty toggles and 12v colour LED pushbuttons, plus a few 45 degree rotary switches. All of this are wired in with a common negative and divided between 3 Elegoo 2560 R3 interface cards. The switches are then programmed into Mobiflight and the LEDs controlled by that software too as outputs

      Thank you for replying.
If I ask you to build the circuit board and programmed it, how much it would be cost?

I really liked your panel. I built my cockpit part by part slowly and now I saw your cockpit looks great. And definitely want.

@@maxnasimov thank you, the circuitry is all just basic wiring. If you have a soldering iron and some wires, solder and switches it is easy enough to do and there are some really good tutorials on here. The I/O card is about £15 on Amazon and the wires etc aren’t too expensive either but cost wise I can’t put a price on how much mine was as I didn’t really count as I went along, I know for certain it is far far cheaper than buying a prebuilt one though
