I started playing Sublogic's Flight Simulator II at the age of 12 and from then on I was determined to become a pilot which I did and have now flown professionally for 31 years. But my love for flight simulator has remained and as it has gotten more realistic I've told my wife that when I retire in just over a decade I want a really nice simulator. I doubt I'll have anything like this (though I would love to!). This set up is nothing short of amazing. The reason I would love a set up like this when I retire is to be able to enjoy all the things I love about flying minus all the not so fun stuff that comes with a professional flying career. Very well done sir!
I’m 18 and in the next week and a half i’m getting my private pilots license. I’m going to a part 141 school to become a commercial pilot. Very very excited to become a commercial pilot, but my love for flight simulators will probably never go away. Now with you saying there are negatives i’m slightly worried (I’m mostly joking). I would definitely love to talk to someone who has been flying professionally for years!! Best of luck on your retirement, sir!

So cool ! An easy immersion step would be to implement the free Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network (VATSIM) so the pilot could speak to real people for ATC for his specific flight.
I would love an Airbus cockpit- similar to A380 and just fly. What a phenomenal setup from air traffic control to flight attendant management, only thing missing is the inflight entertainment and the flight meal. I’ll probably do the whole setup and include a 7-16 hour flight time, anyway that was awesome flight.
That is a home Flight Simulator???? I am shocked by how real that is. At first I thought it was an actual cockpit of the airliner. Or something you would see at Boeing in their flight simulators for pilot trainings. Amazing video. take care.
This dude is living for the day he's a passenger in a flight, and an announcement comes on over the loudspeaker saying, "There is an emergency situation with the pilot! Does anyone know how to fly this plane!?"
Amazing attention to detail and commitment to realism. My only one criticism is that there was absolutely no communication with ATC through the entire thing.
