    Lee Meredith lived 5 houses down from my parents house in River Edge NJ. She jogged every weekend and she would stop traffic.

    She was so fine and I remember her when I was 10 years old and saw this movie. I didn't know why but I made the same faces they made.

    I've seen this so many times and I love every time Zero breaks character. You can tell he's about to laugh when he says, "NO! NO HOTEL!"

      Both versions are good and were written by the living legend Mel Brooks. You know I haven’t even watched the original in full. Shame on me, I’ll fix that this weekend.

    Roger Ebert was of the opinion that the scene in which Zero Mostel (Baylistock) throws water in Wilder ( Bloom's) face when he's having an anxiety attack and yet gets even worse screaming "Now I'm wet, I'm wet, I'm wet!" having gotten even more erratic was the most funniest scene ever in a comedic movie.

    When I saw Lee for the first time . . . I blew a fuse. Can't seem to find a replacement fuse ever since. I was eleven years old.

    I can't recommend the remake with Mathew Broderick and Uma Thurman. Uma is not very good at portraying Ulla. The 1967 film is funnier.
