And to answer the question, tail winds augment is insanely op, as it has no damage cap, it is easy to keep up, and can stack up to absurd amounts, I have had up to a 140k % bonus and yes I do mean 140,000, every dive bomb was doing 10s to hundreds of millions in damage
Using zephyr's first augment and 1 shotting every Enemy after few hits
heat inherit + ack and brunt incarnon in combo with tornadoes. Its satisfying and looks cool while throwing the spectral axes. Its even better if you have the wings ephemera since it makes you look like a valkyrie.
Hello #FYI I am about 6 minutes into the video, and I want to say 2 things.
1. 1:56 the augment scale to infinity ♾, meaning if you keep it up, you will one shot level cap.
2. 5:22 , the 11 tornados 🌪 can pick up enemies, you just need to use your 2nd ability to to "rag-doll" and then the smaller tornados will do everything the larger 3 do. 👍

This Augment is the band-aid that players want for her mobility, and is incredibly useful because it resets her in-air Jump whenever you cast her Tailwind or Hover. What this means is that if you need to move fast without touching the ground, you can do that. You can change direction instantly after a Tailwind, making it possible to use in confined spaces, and you can Hover to avoid falling into a hole, and then Bullet Jump back out again.
Second point; Funnel Clouds can lift enemies, as long as they've been lifted by her 2 first. The Stationary cast with Funnel Clouds is straight up one of the highest potential damage dealing abilities that base their damage on Weapons.
this is good absolutely good.. the less people play her the more likely DE forgets her that she exists and not nerf her
1:55 correction: this augment makes Zephyr one of the best nukers in the game instantly and directly powercreeps Garuda. Run this mod to change her from a weapons nuker to a ability nuker. The damage this mod deals scales infinitely so it makes your dive bomb damage quickly scales into the millions and will instantly kill all enemies in a range in pretty sure bigger than Garuda can manage with her balls. This is one of the most powerful builds in the game and this mod absolutely should not be dismissed as it performs better than your build in the video with less work required.

ive always been a zephyr main, love building them for increased duration and efficiency. her 1 ability can scale infinitely for damage with the augment, being sure to use the 1 ability when looking straight down, as long as you dont touch the ground too long the buffs will just keep stacking forever
I am sorry, target fixation is not really useful? It literally makes her 1 have infinite scaling. Give it a try.
0:20 Zephyr PRIME actually sitting at a 0.78% pick rate. Which is surprisingly higher than a valkyr prime. But i guess the numbers are quite outdated

Having sank at LEAST 1,000 hours into Zephyr. I'd say she would want a Crit weapon over status. You will get a much higher return, but do NOT slack on your status. It is needed to turn your Crits into absolute powerhouses. To the point I have a crit focused Felarx that can keep up with a Devouring Attrition Felarx. Lol
If there’s one thing I want DE to change with zephyr it’s her animations, she looks so goofy squatting in the air looking like she has to shit whenever you use her first ability or when you just jump and she has that brief float before touching the ground.

Me asf one shotting lvl 1800 enemies in duviri (doing 100s of millions of damage with or without duviri buffs, because i can keep up with the restriction of not touching the ground for 2 seconds, seriously it doesn't take that much abusing the tail bomb with 265 range to hit double digit millions, you can then sacrifice the tornadoes for spellbind on yourself to be immune to status effects

I just started playing 50 days ago an Zephyr has been my go to frame since I built her

I fell in love with this frame the moment I built her as mastery fodder. Why? Because one of the things that drew me back to Warframe were some weapons, but I always hated aiming because I'm terrible. Chances are I'd take around 1.5 seconds to line a headshot on a stationary enemy, and my ~13% accuracy Widowmaker doesn't have a lot going for it. Conveniently, Zephyr makes this a non-issue with her 2 + 4. And I also get to be effectively immune against projectiles? Fuck yeah. I'm closing in on 700 hours and despite only getting to know her at around 250 hours I have close to 55% playtime distributed over her non-prime and prime versions.
I also love how Zephyr keeps me coming back because there's a new weapon that looks amazing with her or I find something cool out. My current arsenal includes mostly Viral/HM, Electric, and Gas weapons. Some weapons I can 120% vouch for are Viral/HM Torid Incarnon, Viral/HM Trumna (Gas is also pretty good), Electric/HM Amprex, Electric/Viral/HM Fulmin, Electric Nataruk, Electric/HM + whatever Phantasma/Phage/Synapse, Cold/Corrosive Sporelacer, Heat/Radiation/Viral SS Ocucor, and Electric/Viral HM Alt-fire Bubonico. I don't own the Tenet Flux Rifle and I'm not fond of Convectrix's gimmicks, but they're pretty good too. There are many more, but those are the weapons I'm using 99% of the time with Zephyr.
In case you ask, Fulmin and Torid are my favorites among those.
What do you mean the augment for tailwind isn't useful? If you get it to 1.5mil damage increase or higher you start seeing negative numbers from the first ability, it's super useful since it has no cap. The highest I've gotten mine personal is about 4.7 mill, almost a negative number on every hit at that point
People overlook the Tailwind augment so much, it's one of the most busted augments in the game and nobody uses it.
@@Iron_Cutlass very easily one of my favorite builds, the group I play with asks me if I ever get bored jumping and diving, and I can honestly say that seeing the negative numbers makes the happy chemical go brrrrrr enough to never get bored of it 🤣🤣
Another thing to note is that acolytes have a weird damage cap of about 14k damage from this ability, unless you manage to get it to crit on the acolyte, if you can get it to crit on the acolyte it's a one tap even on them bad bois, easiest way I've found to boost crit is a kompressa modded for status chance, prime it with that and i have no problem one tapping acolyte with the head bonk. Im assuming it has to do with the cold status doing funky crit stuff after the status rework, but either way, it's an amazing power trip in the game
I also put a Surator Syandana on my harrier Zephyr, wasn't sure it works, but after seeing it in your video I'm convinced 😅👍

Mmm, nope, airborne damage reduction mods are MADE for zeph, slap them on. Especially boreal’s mods, which extend your glide. I have 80% damage reduction between 2 boreal mods and aerodynamic. This makes me a flying melee tank combined with turbulence to block fire from onlookers. Zeph is my main, I live for this.

When me and my friends starting playing in 2014-2015 (don't remember the date exactly) we all picked frames to main, I choose this one just based on how she looked. Little did I know how awesome she was lol, been a staple in my warframes I utilize daily now.😊
so, awesome news. The Archon mods work with Zephyr's tornadoes. So You could use Archon Continuity for that corrosive bonus when using toxin weaponry like the Incarnon Torid.
be in mid-air, place tornadoes, shoot once, and blast with the beam. You basically become a miniature Death Star

I keep my narrowminded at +60% duration. I also run the augment for tailwind. Love this frame so much.
I use a near identical build. Except I have Archon Stretch instead of the regular version to help me with my energy regen.. But where does the electricity come from? I use an Amprex modded with extra electricity. This makes the tornadoes electric and start the energy regen. The Amprex is not the primary damage dealer though. That's a Tenet Plinx. This plinx has been modded for viral+heat and has a cascadia flare (flare does +12% damage for every heat effect up to 480%). I alt-fire the plinx in the middle of the three tornadoes. The explosion spreads viral and heat like there's no tomorrow to the flying enemies and then the blastwave hits all three tornadoes which then turn all that damage three-fold back onto the group. It's pretty insane and doing hundreds of millions of damage is very common.
On top of that I have a Nautilus with Cordon and a Gas-Elec Helstrum. Cordon's range is huge. It's pretty much an airburst for free every couple of seconds. Nautilus pulls in the mobs and the tornadoes grab them. The Gas-Elec Helstrum gives me a new status element as well as another source of electricity for Archon Stretch. Combine that with the Duplex mode and with all that energy being spent on Airbursts to drag enemies into your tornadoes makes for a lovely flotilla of Nautilusses with Helstrums just spreading gas and electricity everywhere.
The Amprex is not particulary needed and can be swapped out for something with more heft if you want. A Tenet Arca Plasmor would be a very good choice for your main damage dealing weapon if you don't like the Plinx. An Incarnon Braton (Prime) for radial heat damage or a Laetum with Firestorm for rapid-fire huge explosions, are also stupidly good.

I have been a Zephyr main even before she got a primed version. These days tho, I only use her for steelpath farming. I always camp in a room with only one door, put my tornados in the door and Garas Helminth ability (deleted Airburst) right under it for infinite energy and survivabilty. Then I just keep shooting the tornados constantly with my Trumna while deleting every acolyte with the Trumna alternate fire explosions. Keep in Mind, if you hit the tornados with radial attacks, they stop transfering the damage they take, so you have to replace them. In the optimal room spawn, I can leave the items on the floor and wait for my Smeeta Kavat to give me the double resource buff before collecting the essences for aproximatly 80 essence per hour.
This sounds like a very efficient tactic ^^

You never mentioned Turbulence's augment, Jet Stream. Pairs very well with shotguns if you don't have Galvanized Acceleration or just want even further range
I personally run Zephyr with Tenet Arca Plasmor and Hunter Munitions for the slashes, and try to hit all the tornados at once with each shot (which is pretty easy given how large the shot is). Jet Stream isn't needed, but I use it to be able to kill Eximus units that are far away, and so I'm quicker in missions where I need to go somewhere.
I also subsumed Silence onto her 1 to deal with Eximus and Acolytes. Works very well and makes farming Arcanes a breeze.
Been thinking of changing her up a bit though, as I've been playing her just like this for a few months, and this is giving some nice ideas

Aerodynamic actually works really well together with Boreal's Anguish for reduced gravity and more airborne DR, or Aero Vantage to shut off glide gravity entirely. It's like having her Tailwind hover mode active without spending any energy, at the cost of sacrificing the aura and exilus slot. Just think of it as adding crit chance in your aura slot, since it lets you use Zephyr's passive so easily. For weapons I find the best weapons are aoe or large projectiles with punch through, so that you can hit both the enemies and the tornadoes.
My Zephyr build looks like this: Aerodynamic, Aero Vantage (or Boreal's Anguish), Primed Continuity, Fleeting Expertise, Airburst Rounds, Jetstream, Umbral Intensify, Augur Secrets, Overextended, Stretch. Arcanes are Molt Efficiency (duration), and Molt Augmented (strength on kills). Archon Shards are 1 yellow cast speed, 3 red strength, 1 blue energy max. Helminth ability is Terrify.
You could also use a vermisplicer primary kitgun for both slash and toxin procs as they're the default damage types

I watched exactly 9:13 min and i can also say, dual toxocyst and gotva also hits pretty nice with zephyr.
I wonder, i could play Zephyr with 5 tau purples for electricity damage and use that status on the enemies, considering how it's an AOE status and it will be high in scale, but should i use amprex for it? Will it chain between the tornadoes? Or is there any incarnon weapon i could use that's better for that? Like the torid if i mod it for Gas and leave the electric from the shards? I use that strat dor eidolons to get fuckton of primary radiation on a felarx with rhino and could very much do the same with zephyr in this case, right?
Man i love her. I like using the augment that infinitely scales and just plunge all over the place. Im a big xiao fan from genshin impact and it lets me itch that scratch in this game.

sometime it is fun to not think and just deal 100% of the lobby damage

Subsume spectrorage on and use its augment to get funny amounts of energy (and not need energize
Spectorage gets popped instantly if u plan to go past lev 500s. On the other hand, dispensary + equilibrium (instead of an augment), will reliably source plenty of energy with health orbs giving 100 energy each, sometimes giving 2 health orbs. But not many ppl take zephyr for endurance
@MHBlacky 13:16 Correct me if im wrong, but Archon Vitality is abilities only as indicated on the mod? and does not apply to weapons like ignis wraith? -- I just tested it too and nope. :/
When attacking the Torados with heat then the Tornados reflect the heat onto the enemies inside. This then is considered applying heat through abilities and therefore triggers Archon Vitality ;)
@@MHBlacky_ENG I used an unmodded ignis wraith and unmodded zephyr. I used stationary tornados on some heavy gunners with and without the Archon Vitality mod aiming at a tornado. Damage ramps up to 18 damage per tick. The ticks seem the same amount with and without the mod. Maybe if I use some status chance mods. hmm :/
@@MHBlacky_ENG OK So I found out what it is. If i stopped firing, the tornados themselves are doing damage although very minimal frequency without mods. I wonder how to bump frequency up.
What color are you using for energy or is that default. Really like the invisible wind. Dont like seeing orange and neon pink tornados.
If you use dark energy colors you will see them less
Small zephyr tip, tornadoes lose their hitbox after absorbing 500k damage. Using a gas setup is amazing for quickly killing enemies but the lingering clouds will disable tornado hitboxes pretty fast on some setups. Electric might be a good alternative in that case 😊

The only thing I'd argue here is that her 1 augment isnt that useful, Because its actually absolutely ridiculous. As a Zephyr main, lemme tell you, build that high range like you normally do, start dive bombing into the floor, after a few casts, youll start nuking rooms because it scales infinitely. No weapons needed, just instant death.

Garas ability with spectrosiphon is nice for team play. Power donation is also fits the category of team play since you don’t need ability strength anyways.

when u talk about a good secondary with high fire rate and high status chance i think of the kuva nukor (+ he have a X5 crit dmg base X8 with the crit boost mod)
An amazing weapon for her that fits the high status chance and fire rate is Furis Incarnon. Its absolutely busted in terms of vaporizing steel path enemies with its massive heat dps, pair that with her second augment allows her to harness the power of the Sun paired with her tornadoes for massive crowd control.

Hi Blacky, kinda of a dumb question but at 7:04 ur dealing 400 damage per bullet. While later you show off the slash build with convectrix which only dealt 24 damage, but killed them instantly, why is that? I would assume the 394 would kill faster??
not super obvious with beam weapons, but its dealing a lot more hits and a lot more status effects as slash, which ignores armor even though the direct hit is weak against it

Welchen Frame und welchen Build empfiehlst du für Singletarget Fights? Ich hab immer das Gefühl, dass dieses double dipping bei vielen 'Boss' Gegnern einfach nicht funktioniert... und plötzlich steh ich da ohne Energie oder sonst was, weil ja meist auch kaum Adds spawnen. Hast du da irgendwelche Tipps für solche Situationen? Denke da vor allem an Steelpath Attentats Missionen oder selbst manchmal bei den Archonhunts...
Hiho, das mit dem Double dipping stimmt größtenteils, weil die meisten Bossgegner maximal 4 Instanzen eines jeden Statuseffektes haben können. Alles, was darauf ausgelegt ist, hunderte Blutungen zu verursachen, funktioniert dann nicht.
In solchen Fällen würde ich Waffen empfehlen, fie einfach richtig viel Damage pro Schuss drücken: Sniper, Kuva Hek, Felarx, Kuva Chakkhurr und alles in die Richtung. Dann den Boss schön mit vielen Statuseffekten primen und dann mit der Waffe die volle Breitseite gönnen 😉

I love using the Amprex on Zephyr. High crit (especially when in the air) for hunter muntion slashes. For status, you got innate electricity and mod for gas for aoe dot ticks. Those dots can spread and can hit the tornados... for more damage... Pull everything in and watch the numbers fly.

Something that uploaded failed to mention, but is EXTREMELY important information for new Zephyr players: Tornado electric crit/status inherit is a BUG. It's been a bug on Zephyr for many years, so likely won't ever be fixed, but bear in mind that nothing is stopping DE from fixing it at any time. Additionally, it only works as HOST, which means you aren't getting these insane results as a client. Zephyr is MUCH weaker without this bug, as she basically only brings Turbulence and generic CC to the table.

So I found a interesting combo the lenz really takes things to the max with her tornados by itself it would budge against 120 corpus shields but when they are in the tornados it completely nukes them
Fun fact about her tornadoes. When attacked the tornadoes apply damage to everything else in range including other tornadoes. So if you have range on funnel clouds one shot becomes multiple shots
using red shards for extra staus chance is amazing for this build you can easily do 5 red shards just for ability strength and status chance or just status chance

I really like using the Tenet Arca Plasmor with Zephyr because if you aim it right, the shot can hit the tornado, then pass through and hit the enemies, then pass through again and hit the next tornado. I don't know the math but it's quite strong and I hope you try this 😁
I used the useless augment and for her first ability and it's actually pretty strong, I haven't seen a limit to its scaling yet and it's easy to not lose the buff even in Kuva Fortress
as a zephyr main i would say im surprised she is so low down. but with most youtubers going on about revenent and wisp its not that surprising. she is an absolute crit hitting tank when played right for such a low cost.
I'm playing with a friend. He immediately found the main (Wisp), but I can't decide... Zephyr is one of the options I'm considering, but the her style doesn't seem to be great for group play. What do you think about it? 🤔
@vanhohenheim9083 I agree she's not a support frame like wisp or others that gives buffs ( it would be nice if you could cast her third on allays for protection like gara can with her second) but she can still work well in groups as a crowd controller or tank. I will say if it's a group of random people it really doesn't matter what frame you use cause most of the time ppl are just gona do their own thing so go with which ever you like to play, but if it's a group that know each other and chat or have a plan then she's great, for example if it's just you and your friend with wisp. they are a great duo for endurance runs or farming. find a good spot camp, set zypher tornadoes in one spot and have wisp plop a couple of her electric things in the middle and yous could go for days or if yous are running around and suddenly get over run can do the same and with her passive 150% crit while airborne with the right weapon she can take down pretty much anything. It can take abit to get use to her low gravity but you want to stay in the air as long as you can for her passive anyway.
what about the amprex as a weapon for zephyr
You really called her 1 augment "not really useful" when it has infinite damage amping and can completely decimate steel path no problem. I know a lot of things can do the same, but her 1 is very useful with the augment. Yes, it's a spamming ability, but that's just about all there is when it comes to other frames and SP.
It may not be useful for certain builds, but it can still blend well with some.
will archon mods also work instead of primed ones?

Im currently running brief surge, but after this vid, i will update the build since im using two mods to reduce damage while airborne... the viral temptest will be my go to. but nourish can help with the energy economy and give viral for your weapons, i have a kuva quartakk with corrosive heat plus the nourish buff it gets viral as well. ty for the vid man imma fix my build because archon hunt excavations suck and imma make them a BREEEZE with my zephyr. BD

Ahem might not be common knowledge but if you slap on an archgun before you start to hover you’ll need dispensary as an ability to really keep this air support zephyr to keep going.

Unrelated question: is chroma good? I am looking for new farframe (im at 6 mr) and i can craft him, however, i dont know if he is good option. Any veteran opinions about him?

I wouldn't recommend him, sadly. I'd save building him until you can get the mastery and feed him to the Helminth, and maybe some day down the line you can get his Prime and try it out but otherwise he's extremely skippable.

Funnel clouds augment picks up enemies you just have to ragdoll them with airburst or sth and it boosts aoe weapons even further because one explosion can hit all 11 tornadoes and then enemies take this weapons damage from all torandoes at once
13^35 - wait-wait-wait. so damages transferable from 4 is counted as skill damage by mods and others..!?
As a side note i' like have explosives with hight status or crit + augment for 4 skill. (shooting through 2 or more tornadoes works too)

Legendary Cores würd ich nur für Primed- und Archon Mods benutzen, die bis auf 10 Level gehen. Also nur die aller teuersten 😉
