That may be so, but people...this guide is for those who have Rhino because he fits their playstyle and they want to use him to the best. He's FUN, and doesn't need the be the 'best'. Main reason I personally play Limbo.

Stomp so underrated. Stops overguard enemies and heals your iron skin
True, this Augment is really good... However it's still a tad too expensive to cast for me. And also I wouldn't find space to get the Augment into my build... But it might be worth liooking into how to create a build around it in specific 😉
@@MHBlacky_ENG it is honestly annoying that it's an augment. Same with charge's augment. Honestly all of rhino's augments feel like they should be part of his kit instead of augments, but such is life i guess

@@gravity00x there's a thing called 130/175 efficiency. And please don't spam your stomp, it cannot affect enemies again If they are in the effect.
Energy is never an issue on him, putting two armor arcanes in your arcane slot is not going to save your energy economy, especially him being the only few "all abilities including subsumes are great abilities that should be used", energy economy become very important for frames like this.
Stomp has a non-typical cc duration of 8s + 2s, timing your stomp correctly is the way to go.
@@godzillacc5 even with no augments, he is basically the same. This is some misunderstanding of rhino. Without his augment, he is just as good as putting augments on him.
His augments in many cases, are very situational, even his skin recast which I think is the best augment he has, is only used in where you want to intentionally absorb huge amounts of dmg for skin, it is not mandatory for his daily build.
For extra fun, go to the circuit and pick the "get X amount of power strength per 100 armor"

I kinda discovered that build on my own, but now that we have Primed Redirection and Archon Shards, I discovered that adding more SHIELD is more advantageous than adding more Strength, so the perfect Archon shards for that Rhino would be either 5 Shield Capacity ones or 4 Shield Capacity + 1 Energy Max and forgo Primed Flow for Augur Secrets (+24% Strength)
My build ended up like so:
Growing Power and Power Drift
Primed Redirection, Blind Rage, Boreal's Hatred (instead of Primed Vigor), Ironclad Charge
Umbral Vitality, Augur Secrets, Umbral Intensify and Umbral Fiber
Arcanes as Molt Augmented and Arcane Tanker.
Within the Simulacrum and fully buffed Augmented, my Charge ended up with 3.7k% armor and Iron skin gave me 4.5 MILLION Overguard.

AHEM Revenant.
I’m still a bit new to warframe and Rhino was my second warframe that I have recently made. It’s glad to know that I have this video to go to in order to make Rhino absolutely broken in terms of defence.
Its much simpler than it looks: put at least 200%+ power strength into rhino, a lot of armor, and use one of the multiple grouping tools in the game to charge into a lot of enemies. How much you up the values is your choice, you don't necessarily need arcane tanker which slows the process or a lot of shards. As Dante showed us, 50k overguard already goes a long way, the benefit of investing into reaching these high numbers is that realistically you only do this once per mission in most cases.
Your reward? you get a pretty damn tanky frame who is one of 2 that is able to use both roar and nourish, while also having pretty great fashion and feeling like a juggernaut.
I guess the fascinating thing about elaborated builds like this is the fact, that Rhino was never meant to be that strong because he was created as a beginner friendly frame. I am sure they never envisioned 3M iron skin when they introduced ironclad charge either...
That makes this way more interesting than "just" farming myself a revenant.

This is a good build. In fact, its pretty similar to the one I use. However, the freshly reworked augment for stomp can lead to some infinite overguard with no down time shenanigans, and I high encourage you to check it out if you have not already.
Hi Blacky, thanks for the video, as a Rhino enjoyer myself already that was really helpful. I might consider take a look at this build instead of the Inaros one you showed us a while back, or even sort of combine the two, because I'm not yet in a position where I can actually survive the SP, but ALMOST have all the tools I need to do so. So instead of choosing the easy approach with Inaros, why not invest a bit more to use a warframe I like ? Well, regardless, thanks for your work and your content, now I actually have some ideas of what to do and build my warframes. Have a nice day ! 😊

Rhino doesn't need that much invested into his 2. His 4 is just better anyway: feeze everything in the area, eximus, and *even bosses* included, then proceed to not even get hit.

@@Nobre9121 Why? Just press 2, and use skill to make it, and boom, 2nd best tank, while having his 3 and 4, which is the better part of his kit, and free up a subsume slot for his 37 subsume choices, allowing tons of synergy.
There is a broken combo called iron skin mechanics + rolling guard + stomp. level cap no issue, and with a very well changed iron skin, you can essentially outtank revenant who is a specialized tank, while being "I can do everything I want".

Ignoring Rhino’s Stomp augment restoring 4% iron skin per enemy hit. 😢
So even 1 million iron skin would restore 40,000 points per enemy hit.
If you don't mind getting rid of stomp you could put defy on him get armor from that charge then use iron skin.

Please keep in mind that all this is considering you don't have another player by your side blasting the whole room into oblivion. I feel like this all is too much effort for little payback, and as an Emergence Dissipate user, I don't think this will do well on proper gameplay.
Most of these 1 million overguard builds are for click baity RUclips content. They aren’t realistic and usually end up on DE dropping a hot fox with an overguard cap

From what ive tested shield mods exceed armor mods in every case, im running around 2700 shield on my rhino, with only 1 enemy hit i can get almost 200k iron skin, parasitic armor is about 12k buff, which makes the tiny ammount from umbra fiber pretty useless. Also if you use 1 blue archon shard for energy it gives you enough energy to cast all 3 abilities so no need to run any flow mod.
just jumping into a mission with my parasitic armor then iron skin is 80k shield with 0 setup

Timely video, I just got rhino prime by accident while farming ducats. Honestly I fed my regular rhino to the Helminth, but I’m probably gonna give him a go now that he has overgaurd.

I think you're underestimating Stomp a bit.
you gotta realize that it completely immobilises all enemies in it's radius. All Enemies. Eximus, Acolytes, Demolysts, even some bosses like Angels are unable to move.
It's easily the best CC in the entire game, AT BASE. And it has an augment that refills your Iron Skin based on enemies affected.
On a frame with Roar and Iron Skin, Stomp is probably his best ability.
stomp is for noobs - if you're not breaking the game, you're not playing Warframe! Besides who needs stomp with 1 mill Iron Skin
@@sonsoffishes11 million iron skin that never gets lost because you just slow everyone down plus the augment which refills your iron skin back again rather then just whatever number iron skin with no cc or a way to get back your iron skin other then building it all up again… imma go with 1 million iron skin and the best cc in the game.
Rhino and Grendel are already my 2 most used frames. Both for similar reasons. This build is very similar to mind. Except I don't have Ironclad Charge yet, so I use blind rage.

With the new update that happened today, i noticed a change with the "overguard" when it actually is applied to your warframe, like it isnt instant anymore, and takes more damage during this small visual thing of it "loading" up the overguard from using Iron Skin @@MHBlacky_ENG
I have a no forma regular ass from jackal rhino, with all strength mod, and nourish subsume, with kuva bramma... that *_destructively_* dominates steel path

I subsumed my rhino to put Roar on my wisp. It synergizes perfectly as I've built my wisp for max strength and duration so I can hit 104% damage increase along with all the other wisp buffs. I love supports ❤

Yeah, especially if you have his Prime, subsuming his Roar is a very good idea. It's such a strong skill on many Frames ^^
Stomp is underrated
Sick bro I was sleepin on arcane tanker... Much easier and less risky than waiting for guardian to proc before stacking your charges up. 🤙

Usually my Arcane Guardian was pretty responsive but once my Shield Gate starts running out and I don't see the symbol popping up, I start sweating xD
Arcane Tanker makes it super convenient. Mission starts, bam, Archgun and then you have an entire minute to set up your Iron Skin ^^

When you use rhino charge, you can let the enemies hit you so it can charge more of the iron charge.

I must confess that I wasn't actually watching this video, I was just listening while I worked but I didn't hear anything about the aura mod Stand United (I think) which gives somethibg like 25% more armor. I know it's not a lot but is there a reason it wasn't mentioned? I use it occasionally when I run corrupted vaults with friends and I build my Rhino to specifically be the carrier of all 4 keys but I don't think I really use it outside of that situation so maybe that answers my question, it's just not widely used because it's not effective in a solo capacity but if all 4 people had it equipped I think it would make a slightly more noticeable impact.
put Stomp away for Kullervo's subse ability. that Charge with that heavy ability will go hella sick i think

Hey black, don't forget the Stomp argument, if you get 1M or 500k iron skin, Stomp's argument will recover the 1M or 500K, a lot of people don't talk about it, but you don't need to keep using iron skin all the time to try to get it again, just a stomp restores everything depending on the number of enemies.

In the past Reinforcement Stomp got a buff, since out of 80 overguard recovered per enemy, it's now 4% of the maximum overguard you got affected by the amount of enemies.

Similar build: no helminth, add reinforcing stomp augment, preparation in exilus slot, arcane battery and arcane reaper. Use the operator to group....charge a couple times....get melee kill...cast iron skin (I've gotten upwards of 350K, this is likely nowhere close to max)....stomp as needed (it totally refreshes up to your original iron skin value). This is a comfortable setup. Watch for nullifiers.

Nezha can do that just by pressing 3 only difrence is you receive 0.05% damage and you have to pres 3 every 2 minutes or so. That and the speed he has is why it is my favorite warframe

Figured this out a couple years ago. Fun build. Also id like to note that 3 million is rookie numbers. Edit i got it to as high as 60 million, though this was before it was changed to overguard so that number may not be achievable now

yeah. any content that has high levle nullifiers in them is not suitable for this build as you will spend most of the time panicking and searching for your 50 step cheatsheet (+ dying all the time because you have nothing else going for yourself really)
@@gravity00x I get what you're getting at. but you don't just bring the Warframe in the mission. Rolling guard can buy the player time to kill the Acolyte, Banshee's Silence can also negate Acolyte effects, including nullifiers. it's all situational and it depends upon the player how they counter this while using the build. this game has so many workarounds in a lot of situations and it doesn't always boil down to black and white.
I think I'll take a look into Mecha Pulse again with these companion changes and subsume away 1 for some damage/utility helminth. Does mecha pulse also multiply Arcane Tanker armor? That could be interesting.

Basically, it's a lot of multiplication taking place. If you add two big numbers together, the sum will only be those two big numbers combined... but if you multiply the first big number by the second big number, you'll get a really, really big number. Exploiting this to its fullest, Blacky here builds up each part of the equation so that [each number being multiplied] is being multiplied by [the biggest number it can be multiplied by], leading to a truly absurdly large sum in the end. To do this, though, he makes use of maaaany things that aren't going to make immediate sense to players who aren't very far in the game yet, myself included.

Since you were going for the most armor, I'm surprised you didn't use Mecha Pulse.
You do have to kill the target your doggo marks, but it gives you +60% armor for each enemy within 30 meters, which can add up to a ton.
I'm pissed on a daily basis that DE gave valk 700 base armor and an ability to increase her armor and allies armor while rhino prime has 290 base armor
I don’t know why she even needs the armor considering she’s invincible while doing hysteria, the mode you want to stay in constantly

When I do steel path Elimination or any and all end game content with rhino I get 80 percent kills every time. 200% roar (400% strength) bramma spam with tons of speed buffs. Rev, like rhino has no sustainable damage dealing abilities. He can dance like a fairy, but it’s limited to line of sight and is out nuked by other frames. Rhino is better because of roar. 50k iron skin from parasitic armor is enough for all steel path content. (The augment mods are not necessary) Cast 4th and 2nd on spawn. Invulnerable for the entire mission. I wouldn’t take rhino into level cap, but I wouldn’t do level cap period because it’s boring asf.
You can get much higher in duviri wirh fortified will decree I think it's called cause it feeds back into its self then if you get the power strength decrees as well it should technically push this concept to its limit

All the damage you get while casting iron skin is also added to your shield. I dont know why but if you run purposfully in a lich and cast iron skin at the right moment when he slam dunks you, you instantly get a shield of 300k, instantly winning you every lich fight.

Good video but the creator forgot that rhino's iron skin gives a few seconds of invulnerability while it takes damage and adds that to the iron skin as well

It is the Simulacrum in the Cephalon Simaris Room (The key can be bought for 50k Simaris standing). He is using the Ballroom map which comes at Halloween I'm pretty sure!
Hmm... nahhh, imma just do the casual *CHAAAAAAARGEE*
I run more of a lazy rhino, I subsumed parasitic armor over the charge instead of the 4. I then use the reinforcing stomp augment. Simply using parasitic armor + ironskin with some opimizations like shield archon shards and madurai strength increase can allow you to very quickly get around 60k iron skin at the start of a mission before even encountering an enemy. This build lets you use stomp for CC, while also completely refreshing your ironskin back to 60k if you stomp enough enemies. I find it much more convenient.

One thing that would be I think a decent middle ground in terms of input required would be infusing Mag's Pull and then using that before Ironclad Charge. This way you can pull it off without having to switch to Operator 😉
@@MHBlacky_ENG the main problem with this is you lose parasitic armor, which accounts for a lot of armor on its own. You'd also need to keep charge, which means you're taking of stomp or roar (and no one should take off roar)
Mind listing the mods in your rhino. I'm trying to find a good reinforcing stomp build. Not a lot players post this play style on youtube.

If u want to go steelpath as easy as possible i recomend u to do same thing as me... Rhino prime to be tank and not die(common problem) and for damage go for incaron torid..(u dont need a riven its already illegaly op) and for a melee i use a zaw with Exodia contagion.

Nowadays i just play Revenant for everyday missions.
But the overguard is useful in cases whete the nullifiers ruin all skills like Mesmer Skin.
Overguard doesn't care!

nullifiers strip your overguard. they absolutely shred you out of it no questions asked. i can only imagine the panic in someone, who is playing highest tiers and has to whip out their cheatsheet with the 50 step formula again, to get overguard bakc to the level where they dont die, just because of a nullifier. kekw

Energy tank rhino is better imho. The introduction of shield gating simply made it easier to setup and survive with. Besides if you're getting hit by enemies that deal millions I'd rather have energy economy to cast or recast iron skin.

Nice guide. Couldn't we just exchange Rhino's 4th ability (that we do not need anyway) with Nidus Larva orb which pulls enemies in? Than we would not need to do the pull thing with the operator and do not need the arcana which gives us one slot free here. I know you mentioned Larva but not with regard to this.
