Greetings everyone, in this video I am sharing my opinion on what is the top 10 primary weapons in the game. This is not an objective list and people will definitely disagree in some choices but I am just sick and tired of seeing people suggest only incarnon weapons and passing them off as god tier.
Every tier list I see feels like the same thing over and over again and I wanted to do something different for a change.
The guns that I chose in this video are 100% what I find the 10 most OP and in general a mix of meta and off meta stuff. Note that as I said in the video that damage wasn't the only thing that I was ranking these guns with

For me its got to be Gotva Prime, this thing is such a classic refined for modern Warframe, in an odd fashion. It has no AOE capabilities yet it still feels great to use in exterminates captures etc.
The Gotva was one of the guns I instantly knew i'd enjoy. Very high fire rate, a nutty passive that made me build differently and more intruigingly for once, cool sounds and decent damage. Really fun gun

I'll have to agree, if there is a weapon that is super strong, but isn't op, it has to be the gotva, that gun is gwniuenly so fun and good for how basic it is, it actually felt like fresh air in a meta of aoe and abilities

I used Torid years ago, when prime part farming used one key with endless rotations in the void towers.. (those were good times for prime farming)
With it becoming incarnon, I’m using it 24/7 again!

I got the battacor in sp circuit and I gotta say that it surprised me a lot. It was the default build, so I didn’t expect it to perform so well. Definitely gonna get it, after I get the incarnon for burston that is
Just came across your channel. I recently discovered the Latron Incarnon, and it INSTANTLY became a favorite gun of mine. Gotta admit tho, like the Latron i definitely overlooked a few of these weapons. Stahlta is a gun I loved when i first got it years ago. But then once i got other guns i kinda just forgot about it. Time to revisit some stuff lol
Glad to see the Trumna again on a list. I don‘t see anybody using it but it‘s arcing projectiles are like oneshotting everything. My most used weapon now with 74k kills. Gonna try the stahlta again tho kow. Looks satisfying
I like the trumna as well and I use it with zephyr it’s just too satisfying
I got the Trumna recently and I alternate between it and the Aceletra - I like the Aceltra better but it has serious ammo problems.I also really like Corinth Prime. I'm not really strong enough to do Steel path yet so haven't been able to get incarnon weapons (maybe one day lol).
I've had my eye on the Sthalta ever since i came back from a hiatus after Plains dropped. Reading the description and I was sold when it said "railgun". Now im gonna make sure i farm out the parts for it soon!
Bubonico is actually a warcrime with a galvanized setup and arcane. Probably one of my favorite weapons in the game overall.
Same here, I loved it since I first saw it without even knowing the stats, just the fact that you have infested arm cannon that has barrage of grenades as the alt fire was enough for me to go "yeah Imma leave evrything and farm that right now"
and the fact that its actually good is just the icing on the cake
also, DOT build for it is quite good with some frames
I got a riven for it but I honestly prefer the boar prime, I like just using a normal gun and not an arm cannon the size of my entire body lol.

I’ve been currently using the Probocus cernos, with a build that uses the new radiation mods. So each shot procs viral, radiation, and corrosive. While also grouping, ccing, and killing enemies through floors and walls.
It cannot use galv apitude so it doesn’t absolutely melt enemies like some weapons, but despite that its damage can ramp up pretty well. And all its other bonuses helps keep you alive in higher levels. Definitely pretty fun.
But what you said about the stahlta has gotten me interested in trying it out. Since *some* “meta” builds are absolutely braindead, and ironically underperform to other options. But due to copium people act like what it can do hasn’t become outclassed due to power creep.
I have some setups for proboscis cernos and i think its amazing. The biggest downside of the gun unironically is that it kills your FPS 😂
Proboscis main flaw is the ammo pool, they really should increase it since its not your typical explosive weapon to deserve that treatment, as it does take time to do its thing
otherwise my top 5 favourite primaries for sure, the concept is one of the best ones
Alright, I’ve tried out the stahlta and yeah it rocks. Best way I can describe it is a middle ground between the boltor, the trumna, and the rubico. I definitely like just how unassuming it looks.

As a player returning to this game after 3 years i too thought that incarnon weapons were like hte main viable guns in the game and the rest were like old news lol, im glad to see thats not the case, im def gonna be looking into getting some of these weapons
Battacor and Stahlta are criminally underrated weapons, after getting really sick of having to charge incarnon on every gun I use I started playing around with older guns like these and they're disgusting. I can't believe how cheap the rivens are for some of these guns, its like everyone decided that if its not incarnon it goes in the dumpster now. I'd never hit the damage cap before but did it with Stahlta not long after I picked it up. I'm glad I found these too cuz while I do agree that the Kuva Ogris is nuts, it used to be my favorite gun in the game, it just doesn't feel the same to me after the ammo changes, I can't fuel that thing's ammo reqs to save my life anymore, makes me wana cry lol
Energized munitions is your friend but for sure its a lot harder to keep your ammo up. I think its the weapon that got hit the most in the ammo changes. For you I'd definitely suggest the tonkor and the tombfinger. Both devastating with minimal ammo consumption. Never run out of ammo with them (especially tombfinger)
I just miss the days where I didn't have to use my helminth slot to support the gun, I'll forever be salty about the ammo nerfs, idk why they did it only to replace it with infinite ammo incarnons that do the exact same thing they nerfed Bramma Zarr and Ogris for lmao.
not to mention riven disposition lol phantasma normal is as good if not better than prime because of it

I know this came out before gauss prime access but i'd say that acceltra prime deserves an honorable mention, it has one of the highest burst DPS in the game and if you build it right it can evaporate entire rooms full of high-level steelpath enemies in a few seconds with anything else collapsing to DoTs shortly after
Whe i first started warframe i had no clue what to do, i was stuck with the braton for alot of the early game, that was until i watched a top guns in warframe, I real appreciate these kinds of vids to see what weapons i should work for.
I agree btw when it comes to the tenet/kuva weapons; I think the Tenet Tetra is absolutely insane and totally underrated. The only one I’d say really compares is the Tenet Arca Plasmor because it’s so good for so many builds and frames, but as for Assault Rifles, few can compare.
It was one of my first weapons I formad like six times for my Mag Prime because with the augment it basically turns her bubble into an even bigger blender lol

Yo just got back into the game after not playing for about 4 years and in the honorable mention i see that u put the amprex. The amprex happens to be my absolute favorite weapon of all time in this game and i would love build recommendations for it or maybe even a guide or something cause i would love to use this weapon but im not the best at making builds and i haven't seen many newer videos on this weapon. But at least this was a fun video to watch and u got a new subscriber so keep up the good work. :)
im a returning player waiting for cross save to drop and seeing latron and burston prime, especially the burston prime, in a top 10 weapons list is just crazy to me.
I’ve had a good riven for the burston just lying around for years, grinding to get the incarnon asap. Seeing it on any list while it was just mastery fodder for years is such a massive win imo.

Maybe? The builds themselves that I use are in the description. I do occasionally make gun build videos and cover some of the more unique weapons. I feel like the meta weapons are all way to overdone and overexplained and therefore I do not need to add anything to that

You've got to check out the Phage again! Absolutely insane weapon with many build capabilities. My go-to weapon for level-cap. With Mesa I'd deal around 2 billion damage per shot (after primed and armor strip)
I know the phage is insane, I even have a riven for it. Add some punch through and you are goated
Returning player here, after a few years of not playing. I got a decently cracked Stahlta riven, one similar to yours, just different numbers. I got it in 2 rolls, sadly no multishot. Glad to see the gun is still loved
I personally love the Nagantaka for Mag specifically. Secondary fire into Magnetize.
I haven't done angels of zariman or steel path yet so there's a lot of stuff I still can't access and don't have a lot of the best mods/arcanes etc but Nagantaka + Magnetize is just really good xD
I couldn't be happier that stahlta made it into the list, i love stahlta so much i have a riven with 100+ rolls in it, i think the only downside i can think of for stahlta is that we can't get the stahlta exclusive skin that changes the animations and reload sounds and firing sounds of it.
Except we did with the Stahlta shock rifle skin but its not available anymore 😭
Hell yeah. I love my Stahlta especially with the busted Riven I got for it. The shock rifle skin effect reminds me so much of the BFG from DOOM that I had to nickname it that.

Just tried out stahlta on full crit + HM plus a good riven, it’s actually an all in one weapon with everything u need and will scale well into level cap if built right
Man i have my tenet tetra not even min maxed and it surprises me how can still do the hardest content, at the same kill speed that my incarnon weapons do

Madurai has a passive that gives u 40% ability strength if you void sling twice in operator

You did phantasma so dirty at the start. I LOVE forcing crits on it with Sevagoth's shadow haze, and damage vulnerability is naturally insane for status proc damage (Shadow Haze crit also applies to it's secondary fire but I haven't played around with that much).
Anything it kills is pretty much guaranteed to proc the cooldown reduction of manifold bond so your sentinel can cast guardian back to back.
With that setup it often kills with RAW DAMAGE before status procs even get chance to tick once- I've hit several million damage numbers of upfront damage which, to me, is insane for phantasma. And with the new purple archon shards +electric damage I'm really excited to revisit electric phantasma for that exponential scaling with enemy density!
I really wanted to like phantasma. I had a riven for it and it just wasnt up to par with my other beam weapons. I invested too much into it and thats why I personally dont like it. If you have made it good and it works for you then obviously go ahead and use it. I just think other weapons are just stronger versions than it. Especially beam secondaries
@@WispGraxx I don't think any other beam weapon is capable of the sheer number of heat or electric procs that phantasma can output. Also since you like Tetra and Stahlta so much, what are your thoughts on Argonak? Aptitude is multiplicative on it's primary fire just like Battacor!

The intro to this video, and the video itself really pushes home one of the best parts of warframe and it’s community: There is no singular right answer. Anything works as long as you have fun with it. Yes, we will have ‘meta’ choices that are good, because nothing else compares. But then goofy weapons like the zymos exist. And few things are more satisfying, in my eyes, than watching chain head pops 😅
Personally why I don’t like the idea of “meta” because in most cases it’s subjective as hell.
Enjoyed the Stahlta so much when it first came out. Glad it's at No.1 spot. Also, I just got a riven for it

Aeolak is a very nice gun. I have only used it during circuit runs because that one part is a pain to get. Its definitely on my list of weapons to get and try to max out
For the Trumna or any weapons you want more fire rate with, reinforced bond on your companion is so nice, I always have it on any companion it's free 40% Fire rate
Kuva Zarr, the build I currently have gets insane slash procs and high crit damage. On mirage with energized munitions, I create so many particles to the point I drop other peoples fps. I had a guy in my squad recently who had a 4070 TI; I dropped his fps from 300 to below 100 a couple times. I know this because he told me, oh and it is a flashbang when you spam it.

Returning player and New subscriber! I have the Stahlta and always liked it, but I really didn't know that could be so OP. I'll be inverting on that weapon after seeing this 😅. You are amazing, every weapon with their build! But I have a question, is the number of forms correct or have you tested different configurations and I could use less than that?
The builds are optimized. If u want to spare some forma with 60s mods by all means do so but your results will obviously differ
It's just weird to go after someone's tier list. Every choice on his list is strong/meta in some shape or form, on a tier list about... strong/meta weapons...
If the critique is that he should use more off-meta weapons, it's no longer a tier list about strong/meta weapons. If the critique is just that you don't like the choices on his list, then I don't get why the "roasting" is necessary when your list overlaps with his lol.
Also, laughing at the damage output of the phantasma in his video when you're using rivens and eclipse in your video is a little rich.
I will try some of these weapons out though, especially the battacor, I've been sleeping on it for sure.

Love my Kuva Tonkor, had a riven for it for a long time, until I rolled it quite godly (2k plat market value) - so yeah, has been my most used gun..

For the builds that you used rivens for, what would you replace the rivens with for those that don't have them?
I got a riven for Mutalist Cernos that made it a crit shotgun bow. I clear Netracells with it with zero issues. I can get up to 500k damage per arrow with a 10 multishot. It's insane.

Not really, but if you want to replace the riven I suggest bane mod the most and if you dont like bane mods then Hammer shot is your best bet
You should do a list of weapons more gear that should be used during each phase. For example in the beginning phase people should go for ex, and then once you clear the star chart go for this, stuff like that

I love the battacor and and I have good riven for crit and it does insane numbers! Get a good cc ability and the charged shot can clear a group easily

I remember back then i got a stahlta blueprint back when i was mr 4 from a random boss, when i crafted it after reaching mr 10 i was in complete shock on why that gun is allowed
convinced me to get the tetra and a riven, ended up going with 99.6% toxin, 139.7 crit dmg and 91.6 multishot, would u change anything on the build with this, since it has extra toxin?
What you do not say in this video is that the tenet tetra needs warframe buffs to be strong. You cannot use the tetra on just any warframe in high level content. It's fire rate is abysmal unless you mod for something like vile acceleration, especially with critical delay. You did say it needs prime and armor strip to be fair, but to be also fair the phenmor doesn't need prime or armor strip or warframe buffs to be strong. I built the tenet tetra because of this video, took a while to farm it and forma it, but I sure wish I'd done my homework more first. I'm glad I have it because it's a fun gun to use on my harrow but dang this video had me expecting something much better. Maybe it's just because I don't have a riven.
Edit: On getting to know it better, the tenet tetra really is very good. Not the best but fun and worth using especially with the right progenitor. I suggest toxin.
I got the stahlta for free when epic game did its warframe thing and it’s been my favorite gun since, I added other guns like the trumna, tenet arca plasmid, and some other incarnons with are fun too.
Returning playwr and wanted to find some meta aeapons that wasnt incarnon as i need to do duviri and whispers. Im glad to see battacor and staltha in the list. Can we get a modsing tutorial for them?

No you are 100% right. The footage is just me using the guns and showing some of their capabilities. But in all the entries I use some kind of damage buffing ability depending on the gun itself. For example on Torid i used citrine with nourish so ofc in base SP it absolutely annihilates anything it touches. As i said this tierlist is how useful the weapons can be overall so warframe ability synergies should be taken into acc imo
Fulmin was my favourite 2 years ago on PS4 and now on PC they made cross-save so I'm rockin' Fulmin Prime on Mesa just can't let it go. And that bow you get from that quest it's powerful. That bow with Stynax passive I'm getting red crits and sometimes 1.000.00 damage shots.
I think this gun could definitely be on the list, if not at least in honorable mentions. The Dual Toxocyst Incarnon is absolutely busted.

Hi! I have a question, I have 2 Tetra rivens one has 202% Damage and 108% multishot, and the other 239% Critical Chance and 221,4% Damage, which one could give me similar results to the ones you showed on the gameplay? Please I hope you can give me a hand with that, also I loved this video! You showed weapons I've heard people say are bad, just like the tetra, which ironically it's normal version is my favorite weapon in the entire game, it was my first weapon and the one that I have most time played with. So yesterday that I got my Tenet version with heat just as you showed, I'm ready to do the build! I also really want to try the Tonkor and the Stahlta sine I love corpus rifles

Just saw this vid mad respect for the Tenet Tetra. use to play it with a pretty nice riven and Mirage Xaku infused, with the Tetra Augment it make the bullet ricochet into the void sphere and that absolutely broken, just shooting straight with shit ton of MS spaying room and killing without even trying too
BTW in my top 10 weapon even in 2050 it would still be the Mutalyst Cernos in the first place, never have that much fun playing a primary since discovering this one with split flight

I have MR for Battacor: + CC +Dmg +Multishot -C.D and its still amazing weapon even with 1.8x crit dmg multiplier
Thank you very much for such list! Now im able to play the game after cross-save and maaan do my 4-5 year old weapons and builds(even with groll rivens at the time) completely suck ass at steel path. For me like 70-80% of weapons were "oh so another weapon into rank i see" when i shot them unmodded while lvling them. Barely played more than 10 weapons for 3k hours and now im SO EAGER to try out all that unusual stuff that i never even though about that is actually shreds. Any chance to get a glimpse of your builds for these weapons?

i want to recommend a kuva/tenet (or anything good and obtainable at relatively low mr) weapon to my friend that doesnt have ammo issues or take specific/rare augments or mods. i initially recommended a tenet arca plasmor because he has already farmed shotgun mods but after this video im having second thoughts. what should i recommend he get?
If u want an explosive with no ammo issues dont look into tenet/kuva weapons. The tombfinger kitgun is the most ammo efficient explosive in the game. If u really want to get tenet kuva weapons that are accessible and deal good damage go for tetra, tonkor and hind

My riven isn’t that great. It’s a relic from days gone by, +elec.+damage, + CC. The negative is fire rate, but I never minded running fire rate on it. It felt nice, and didn’t affect the semi- mode. Maybe I should give it a few rolls to get something as godly as yours!
The exergis and the caustacyst have a special place in my heart
Phage takes alot to get it going but feels really nice for long runs

I'm honestly a big fan of the primary vermisplicer kitgun, mine has nearly 200% crit from a riven and it just shreds anything I look hard enough at.

Stahlta is so freaking fun and strong, i got myself 2 good rivens for it.... people sleep on this gun!

Galv Aptitude doesn't work on the secondary fire's AoE, but probably still worth running.

One of my favorite weapons as of rn is the Acceltra and it’s prime. Only thing that sucks is that in endgame Steel Path almost everything takes a full magazine to kill.

When i started Warframe at 2016 i found Tiberon. When i returned to Warframe in 2018 i got myself a Tiberon Prime with a riven. This week i returned to Warframe again and i still cant get Tiberon off my hands :D

i see your ogris riven are those the perfect stats your after; crit dmg heat multishot or is there a stat prio?
For me these are perfect because my Wisp setup uses arcane avenger and smeeta kavat so I can benefit from crit damage. If crit isn't something you are looking for then status duration can do wonders (unironically)

What do you mean cruch, they're the cream of the crop weapons we have available, why would you consider using the best tool available, a crutch? Why would you consider making a list of "Top or Must-Have" primaries that, doesn't include the ACTUAL top weapons just because "they're too good".
There's way too many guns in the "A tier" or that is the "This shit is fire and will function anywhere and everywhere but it just isn't cream of the crop aim at the floor kill the room crazy good" that people are bound to want their favorite staples to be S tier. They ain't.
