  • Hey YTubers,
Okay, I was pretty excited to start using my new mics after testings and setup but it jostled a bit pretty early on and the sound was a bit muffled. I won't be using them again until I get some help sorting them out.
    Thank you for your patience
This was a crazy fun time! So many superstars in this one!
I felt stupid because I didn't realise this was Edgar Wright until the very end, but it makes total sense!
    Peace!

Great reaction, and one of my favourite films! One person that people don't often recognise is Michael (Lurch) - he was played by the same actor who played the Hound in GoT.

The easiest explanation is, they wear caps when they're on car patrol, and helmets when on foot patrol, it's all about headroom in the car.

Enjoyed this reaction, thanks! I believe it was mostly filmed in Wells, which is a village in Somerset... I think it's where Edgar Wright grew up.

Wells is actually classified as a city, it's the smallest city in England.

When he was a kid, Edgar WAS the Trolley Boy in that Supermarket!

Filmed in Wells, Somerset, South Western England, just below Wales.

Swans will bite, and they can be quite aggressively territorial, especially if their nest or young are near. It's really a last resort if they're cornered, though, mostly it's hissing and stretching themselves out and flapping wings to look as intimidating as possible.
The urban myth is that they can break an arm (hence Frank winding up with his arm in a sling in the ambulance at the end) but really, it's a threat display. My springer likes to call their bluff and chase them back into the water if she catches them on land.

A lot of the actors in this have been in blockbusters, or iconic films in many genres. Unlisted were Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films, playing the knife wielding santa, and Australias' own Cate Blanchett as his girl friend. Skinner was Timothy Dalton, who played James Bond in the 80s, his sargent in London was Martin Freeman from "The Hobbit" and "Sherlock" among many others, alongside him and Bill Nighy was Steve Coggan from the "Night at the Museum" films. WPC Doris was Oscar winning actress Olivia Colman, Billie Whitelaw, the hag, was in the iconic horror film "The Omen", the vicar or priest, Paul Freeman played Belloq in "Raiders of the Lost Arc". Leader of the neighbourhood watch Edward Woodward was in the original "Wicker Man" horror film, and his last words "oh god no", were identical in both films. Most of the rest of the cast have been in either Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, or Game of Thrones, usually more than one of those franchises.

Wow definitely wouldn’t have guessed Cate Blanchett and I’m disappointed with myself for not recognising Olivia Coleman

Martin Freeman and Steve Coogan were the Sergeant and Inspector in the beginning, before Bill Nighy shows up as the Chief Inspector
The thrid movie of the Trilogy is called "The World's End", and it might be less of a comedy, but it IS a very *powerful* movie, and it's quite loved by everyone who *gets* the emotional impact of the story that is being told there.

The translation scene is my favorite part. Those accents were wild.

Not only did he play Argus Filch and Walder Frey, but he also played the First Doctor near the end of Peter Capaldi's run on Doctor Who, because the original actor had passed amd they have a pretty decent resemblance.

@@splintreacts don't listen to anyone who says to skip the first season with Christopher Eccleston (the Ninth Doctor). He's vital to the start of the "New Who" series and has one of the best two-part episodes of them all.

What did he send the kids off to do? To go and overpower the woman who was shooting at him from the window. 😂
