See how to replace the battery in your 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, & 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe key fob keyless entry remote. This a fairly easy process that just requires you to remove the emergency key and then use that to crack open the case. At that point, you can easily access the battery. Put it all back together and you're all set!

Great DIY video. Was just at Chevy dealer and they wanted roughly $400 for a replacement FOB. No one even mentioned a simple battery replacement. So glad I found this video. Popped in the battery, and all is well. THANK YOU!

The green board fell out of mine and had to be replaced inside the four silicon corners and re secured.

If I have a 2007 Tahoe can I use an updated key fob? I hate the shape of my current one. Curious if I can order a new one and connect it ?
You can't use a newer year fob on your 2007. However, there are some aftermarket fobs where you can just drop in your existing board and gives it a cleaner look. Here is an example - ebay.us/MTdS1E

Can anyone give me a straight answer on why my 2015 Chevy suburban locked in at 85mph and doesn’t increase or decrease in speed Chevy dealership said it can be my key fob?
Extremely unlikely that has anything to do with your fob
@@KeyFobRob do you have any clue I took it to the dealership and there no codes or check engine showing any signs of the issue.
Some people told me that when you change the battery, you have to recalibrate the key to the car
Nah - just don't leave the batteries out for too long or press the buttons a lot with the battery out.
