This was the best video and the easiest way to separate the case. Using the internal key to separate the case that other videos show can be difficult. Mine was so tightly connected I risked ruining the shell by prying on one side. Thanks, yours made it simple!

I have a 2018 XTS and it separates completely different. When I separate it, the motherboard and rubber piece is exposed and not the battery department

U should be able to lift out the motherboard and the battery will be clipped into the rear cover section

Wrong, my 16' escalade fob is totally different from yours

Is it? I replaced a battery on a 2015 escalade and it had same shape and procedure just 6 buttons..but maybe theyre not all the same

Video is correct. If your fob is different then it is the wrong fob. Starting in 2015 the fob is the one shown in the video.
