@@as_craft5063 I get you mate. Same here in England. Our modern coins are made of crap. I've found Victorian pennies 100 years old in much better condition than pound coins just 5 years old. But the main thing is... we're still finding coins! It's just that we have to find a lot of other crap in the process I find that on heavily contaminated ground,the machine eats batteries.Thats my only gripe with it I always have a spare set handy.

Very good. I have this detector in the UK. Absolute coin magnets they are. You can't go wrong with the 440.
It is a good detector, but the problem in Canada is that the coins are made of steel and it is hard to search them.
