I’ve had my first detector. Vanquish 440 for year and a half now. Absolutely love it. So easy to use once you learn it. I’m still learning but I am confident every time I go out now. It just takes time to learn the modulation and tone breaks. And that iron can give a good repeatable signal. If I’m doubt dig it out. No shame in digging iron means your not missing much lol. Definitely need patience. I couldn’t go on the shingle on my beach for ages as there’s iron everywhere. But now I’ve learnt the machine more I’m more confident and have found targets in trashy areas. Paul’s videos helped me a lot and still do. He’s one of the only ones who live digs and let’s you listen to the tones. So binge watch videos and get out as much as you can you’ll soon pick it up👍🏼
That was painful to watch, but so funny to think we were all like that once. Thanks Paul looking forward to watching the next one, he can only get better at it, we hope lol.
Thanks for this video, this is totally where me and my good lady friend are at.. its like Chris Tarrant used to say... i was going to buy my 540 from your store but there was no klarna option.. but when ive saved up enough I'll definitely be getting my upgrade from you.. cheers! Great vid 👌
Hello, buddy, I have already mastered the 540 to operate like simple equipment, and yet I learn all the sounds and digital values for given objects for a few months. Digital values completely different as in the field or in the forest. Best regards from Poland.
Cracking video 👍👍👌,made me a bit more confident on using my 540,still haven't been out with it yet and I'm seriously chomping at the bit but don't have motorised transport at the moment so confined to Hull
@@crawfordsmetaldetectors honestly has,i just need somewhere to go now lol, weather hasn't been the best to go door knocking at the moment, but got my NCMD membership sorted so that's a bonus, keep up the great work you do at CMD and in the fields 👍👍
@@scotthigh9175 Thanks Scott, have you tried beach detecting yet? I believe this means permissions are easier... I'm going out with Paul again in a few weeks for my first go and I can't wait.
@@crawfordsmetaldetectors I'm planning, weather permitting,to jump on a bus to withernsea or hornsea for a few hours, was thinking of hessle foreshore west of the bridge but been told they don't allow it but not sure if info is correct and don't want to risk it till i'm absolutely certain its 100% ok 👍👍
@@scotthigh9175 Good plan, I'm still learning that side of it myself, and the last thing I would want is to be detecting somewhere without permission (even if by mistake). Good luck, please report back with your finds! Scott 8-)
I think you needed to explain that the detector needs to be moving to get signal, when he tested what he dug he just held item in front of coil with no movement so no signal, I would consider leaving it but it would be on my mind should I have dug it, it might have been interesting so I dig, I also have ended up with a lot of rubbish doing this.
Great video Paul. I own a Vanquish 540 Pro. I have just ordered from Crawfords, the straight Equinox conversion kit with carbon fibre rods, and a Minelab baseball cap. Dohh. I forgot to add PaulCee10 discount code. Next June I will be visiting Cleethorpes in a holiday let. The Fitties.
Если вы зайдете на Minelab.com на странице Vanquish, то увидите, что есть утилита обновления, загрузите и подключите Vanquish, если обновления доступны, они появятся .. 👍

Spot on. I follow all videos about Vanquish detectors. Paul’s are excellent.
Would have left it now but not when I started.. when I started I would have digged it… digged anything that made a sound to start with!!
That was painful to watch, but so funny to think we were all like that once. Thanks Paul looking forward to watching the next one, he can only get better at it, we hope lol.
Hey Andrew! It's painful for me to watch too!
I'm getting there, but still making plenty of mistakes!
Thanks for watching 8-)
Great job 👍

Wow with carbon fibre rods and straight conversion, swing is much lighter. My Vanquish 540 Pro feels a new beast.
