    I've had a 440 for atleast 2 years and absolutely love it ! Does everything I want . No need to upgrade later unless you want extremely small and deep gold nuggets.
    So easy for anyone to use even if you are a beginner or more experienced user.
    Thanks for posting and highly recommend them. Cheers n thanks.

    The 440 is a great machine and picks up loads of good finds. Why buy a machine costing over £600 when this does the same job for half the cost. We all tend to want the next best detector out and it's not the way to go but to learn your present machine well and know the tones so you will know what is beneath that sound. Great video and informative for anyone wanting the vanquish machine.

    I bought the 540, but it only had the v12. Would buying the 440 just to get the v10 be an advantage to have a spare detector and also have a v10 for my 540?
    The v12 seems awkward in size. Is the v10 significantly more manuverable?

    Great vid Mate. I am looking to buy my first metal detector that I want to use for gold prospecting and treasure hunting. I have the opportunity to buy an X-Terra 705 for $169 or a Vanquish 440 for $349 here locally. What are your thoughts on that for a first detector? I have been advised to save more money and buy an Equinox 800, but it is considerably more expensive even second hand. Not much work lately so I am on a fairly tight budget and still considering the 440?

    I have one issue with this machine.. I’m not sure if it’s ghost readings or what but I get a lot of 20-30 readings on the scale that turns out to be old pieces of iron (nails etc) isn’t the 20-30 range supposed to be within precious metals or does the readings just go off possibilities

You eventually starting showing what was on the display, but early in the video, you did not. Show us the "Pinpoint mode" also. Unbelievable advances in detecting technology since we started Graeme, where will it all end? I like the multi-frequency aspect of it, something lacking in the otherwise superb Simplex. I agree with you regarding the control box, if they can fill it with features surely waterproofing should not be a problem.

    I have a opportunity to purchase a 440, i was hoping to learn ans see its features. Why did you make adjustments off camera collapse down/up for me it would have been nice to view that! Also, the various different tones, pitches as your sweeping not being able to view the screen from tone to tone? I have more questions now than before watching this video.

    Hi there ive just taken my new vanquish 440 out today in a ploughed field...it was picking up everything...i used the same settings you have it on in this video.. But kept finding a lot of nails . Is this normal? Thanks

    • @unearthed-detecting-tv
      @unearthed-detecting-tv  2 года назад +2

      No, my suggestion would be when you hit a target click into all metal mode and recheck the signal, if you get a low tone/grunt in there then move onto the next signal
