    Great Tutorial. But if you have to render a dinning room, could be tricky right? What I do to the material (velvet material downloaded previously): Roughness: 75%, Metallic: 15%, Specular: 10%, Image fade: around 20 to 75%... Voila! You have velvet!

      Cool. If you have a bigger scene just don't add the lights.

    I feel that it is still difficult to make flannel material with enscape, I don’t know what to do?

    • @Modulusrender
      @Modulusrender  3 года назад

      I think, for flannel , you need a good looking texture. Something like 4k or 8k , a scanned texture and you just add some bump and of course, good lighting.

    Hi Vlad where do you get these designer models please?

  • @GrinningDemon
    @GrinningDemon 3 года назад +1

    subscribed! Great content. Question though... your fill light technique requires visible geometry to host the emissive material, this is fine for a still render where it may be out of frame.... but what would you do if you were rendering a 360 image, or an interactive EXE file out? Can these be hidden from view without losing their light souce?

    • @Modulusrender
      @Modulusrender  3 года назад +2

      Thank you! The light source is not visible in Enscape. They work great for 360. The light geometry is visible only in reflections. When you use emissive materials on rectangles, then yes, they are extremely visible. Check out my new detail lights tutorial and you can replace the big rectangles with emissive material with the detail lights made out of default rectangle lights (these are invisible)
