Hello, I am starting in the world of rendering, but I always have questions about where I can get good furniture models, I always have that problem, can you suggest me where to get some?
Hi, First of, really nice tutorial and really informative so thank you for sharing and I look forward to more tutorials. I've been using Enscape for just a year and I love the software but I have much to learn. I'm just wondering for the part where you said to brighten up the scene, can you also use a HDRI map and increase the brightness of it rather than put these line lights to act as a fake sun?
Hi and thank you. You could use an HDRI map for brightening the scene but you wouldn't have the same result. Enscape doesn't have real hdri lighting, it just mimics hdri if that makes any sense. So you would get almost no shadows with HDRI (when sun is set to 0%) and you would get a lot of color in your interior even with a black and white HDRI. I use lights (spot and line) because of better control over color, brightness and shadows. If you want I can send you some tests I made with this scene using HDRI, to see the difference.
Subscribed!!! Great tutorial! Wish there were more tutorials like this. Btw is this lighting technique also works for interior rooms without window or any openings? Thanks! :)
Thank you! I would use this method only when there are windows letting the light in. When using just artificial light and no windows I put extra lights around the light source.
Thank you so much for all your tutorials, it has been extremely helpful! You have beautiful furniture in all of them, I am assuming they are either obj files or 3ds? Is there a particular process or software you use to bring them into Sketchup? I’m running into a few problem when assigning materials to an obj file due to the multi-facets it creates. Thank you for your help.

Hi thank you for sharing kind of these videos. But How will we use light when we see windows and curtains and small window dark room . Window is right side and the come office area an then came glass dividing door and then come bed area . Sun is coming after two glass window . My scene is very dark and not realistic.
