- Embattled Rishi Sunak confirms a date for the next UK general election.
The Conservative party leader - whose party has been rocked by months of scandals - is set to announce later today that voters will go to the polls on Thursday, July 4 following hours of intense speculation at Westminster.
The UK Parliament will be dissolved next week.

@whitefalcon630 there has never been socialism anywhere. Because ot always turns out that the rulers of socialist cultures are always greedy capitalists that manipulate their people. oligarchs anyone ?? Chinese gov anyone. Putin anyone?? Stalin anyone?? - They are/were all capitalists. Socialism might work but for the leaders of socialism.
Rishi sunak managed to make 1 good decision then only problem is if he had held it during the bi-elections he could of saved millions of pounds but we all know he doesn't give a crap about the taxpayer if he did he wouldn't charge us for his helicopter service
