This video is Episode 2 of the InTooDeep 2024 boat trip from Maine to Florida. As you may have seen in the video before last, I spent this summer up in Maine working and fixing up my boat. One day this summer down on the docks at the marina, I met a kid that also had a big old motor boat. To make a long story short, we became friends and I convinced my him to quit his job to hop on his 1979 Jersey 40ft sportfish to boat convoy to Florida with me lol. I am on my 1968 Hatteras 50 motor yacht that I bought down in FL last year after hurricane Ian tipped her over on her side and popped a hole in the hole. Stay tuned for an action packed epic adventure. As always, Thanks for watching and enjoy these absolutely action packed videos. If you like the Videos, Subscribe! 😀

You've got me HOOKED to this. As a young dude my dad always had a sea- going boat, but he used it exclusively for fishing, i.e. no "family" outings. I plan to retire now and after watching you boys I can't think of a better way to enjoy my golden years , taking a "pre-enjoyed Hatteras from the NJ/NY area down to Boca in late November, then, sail her back north before Hurricane season.
So very happy you made the decision to find, buy and put your love in your beautiful boat and wish you many future years if enjoyment.

The bugle call you hear is the US Navy Evening Colors. Traditionally played at sunset while the ensign (flag) is lowered signaling the ceremonial end of work day. All branches have similar ceremonies in the morning and at sunset.
