Post-graduate IT degree is actually possible with Microsoft Office and basic programming, if the post-graduate degree is post preschool.

2008 when she was 31-years old.
One thing I don't understand is, why would you risk leaving and re-entering when you know there is a chance you will get caught.
Yes, exactly. Had the indian man stayed in the Uk at the factory he was not likely to have been caught as we have 1 million illegals.
Folks will try anything these days
Sometimes, people come from environments where government officials don’t work as they are supposed to. I once flew to the Dominican Republic, and I had brought some morcillas (blood sausage) from a specific store a friend of mine, whom I was visiting, had requested that I bring...and I didn’t know morcillas were a prohibited item! When I declared it, the customs officer actually suggested that I give him some US$, so he’d look the other way. People from such environments probably expect the immigration officers in UK, US, etc. to be the same way.
He wanted to go back to his native Slumdog are and demonstrate how big king he is. And to get laid
Because as you can see, they're not the sharpest tool in the shed.
she shows empathy never seen that from customs before
She is an immigration officer, not a customs officer; it is easier to show empathy for people trying to enter the country to improve their lives, whereas customs officers are dealing with people trying to enrich themselves by bringing in contraband. I worked in the Gambia for some time checking documents at the departure hall and also had empathy with the people that I caught trying to get on flights to the UK with forged documents but no empathy or sympathy for the people smugglers who charged extortionate fees to the would be immigrants.
You may have had a sheltered life Mr Balls. She showed as much sympathy as professionally appropriate, and I felt a little sad for the chap. Officials are not your friends, counsellors, lawyers, social workers nor charity service, nor are they heartless bastards incapable of normal feelings. They cannot and should not always express their feelings openly. I was a Customs Officer (and SCO) for eight years, a Corrections Officer for eight years, and it often surprised me that people wanted to "type-cast" me as they had a preconceived notion of my character based on those professions. I've done many things and for longer periods than those two official jobs, and no-one ever says "Oooh, you must be "type xxx" because you were an Office Administrator, a self-employed Handyman, an investor, a property developer, an insurance clerk and now a retired person who does a little P.I. work for a reputable company. I also do voluntary work for several organisations and support my community and schools. In my travels I have always been treated fairly, professionally and courteously by Customs and Immigration except in Guatemala and Peru. USA officials and cops were cold, unreasoned and abrupt.

This is very old, but even so I'm amazed they didn't wear gloves most of the time when going through peoples clothes. Yuk!!. How things have changed.
my heart breaks for the lady who had to be denied entry. I know where she comes from, and it must feel bad knowing you're the only one who can provide for your brother's college and your mom while living in a town where it's hard to get money. I hope she's doing well right now
me too. I do feel for her- Capetown is a nightmare. That being said, she still has to follow the rules properly. I hope she contacted the school, got a training start date and hopefully, a work visa. She can work 20 hrs/week on a student visa, but a work visa will allow her more hours. I hope she does well.
Stop and think for a moment: if these rules weren't in place, there would be literally hordes of people coming from these countries, and would be by definition the poorest, least educated, and most in need of public assistance. No country could sustain that!
I wish they would have worked with the school to see if they had room for her to stay. Sad
@@archetypealch3my290 It’s probably because no one feels anything for you. There’s a cure for loneliness - stop being a heartless loser 💟
She fake
The interview with Indian student was gripping
Having watched several of these videos I have come to a few conclusions to ensure entry if you are not an EU citizen.....
1) No matter the purpose of your trip or how long you plan to stay...always purchase a round trip plane ticket.
2) Set in place a plausible reason to visit....have a legit person you can stay with or book a hotel, have all booking documents
3) When asked how long you plan to stay be sure your dates align with the previously purchased round trip air fare and your hotel booking.
Also make sure you have enough money in your account that is sufficient to support yourself during the stay.
Those are also the rule when any Westerners travel to other nations -- and we generally do. But for some reason, when we hold people to the rules we are evil...
This is the case with most countries.
Also have money.
Member of EU was made moot by Brexit, wasn't it?
Om my God she is so kind!! Smart officer done the job well👌
5 hours is a long time to make sure he has enough money and a legit friend to visit. That should have been 2 phone calls and a bag search. 30 minutes tops. I'd have been pissed too.

These dodgy colleges change the business name, location every 3-4 years.
I heard her mention St Pauls College. Well, I've found their website. They're based in an office block in London and you can order a student ID card on their website. This is how these people can get fake IDs. Its as simple as putting in your name and a photo and then they send your ID card to your home.

i dont understand why lorry drivers get fined, its not like they put the people inside their load.
@John DoeNot If Its A Sealed Container
It is unfair but part of the risks so UK lorry companies tell drivers never to sleep near calais and not to stop once at any place immigrants can get in.
They need to get rid of those fabric side walls on the trailers. Solid metal walls with triple locks and triple seals on the trailer doors. Add in multiple exterior and interior recording video cameras for the trailers.
In another episode it said because the truck drivers failed to secure the truck from stowaways entering
As opposed to US immigration and customs, in the UK you seem to be able to even formulate an absolute denial in a very polite and respecting way.....
Of course. We are respectful people. Treat others as you would hope to be treated.
Just wait when they don't have cameras rolling 😅

You can tell which lorry has illegal stowaways: the license plates on the trailers are either fuzzy and/or completely unreadable.

the fake college reminds me of a college in Leadville , Colorado ...which is close to Vail ,Colorado... where kids would get a room in the dormitory and never go to class so they could go to Vail and ski because it was cheaper than housing in Vail
I must confess that I only watched this video because the Redhead female officer was so adorably cute.
How come someone from Brazil gets held for two days and then sent back, but from anywhere else, they are let go and then disappear?
First off, it depends on if they can find a passport for that person. If immigration does find a passport, then regardless of the county, the deportation can simply take days because that is what immigration needs to send the person back.
If no passport can be found, then it depends on the other country as to how long it takes to send the person back. Some countries can be quick in issuing emergency travel documents, others can be notoriously slow. When it takes 12 months to get documents, there is not enough room to hold those people so immigration lets them go.
I suspect it may be because they are in an area of the UK which is rural and a long way from London so have many many fewer immigration issues so have the time and money to do things properly. it is harder in London where they seem to let most of them go
Imagine if shamima begum shows up on the desk of officer Lisa li 😂

For every person that is stopped.... how many aren't ?
Just like in the USA many are visa overstays. They get in legally then decide not to leave. In the USA the universities and colleges don't care as long as they got paid for the time the student was in classes. IF the student stops attending classes the attitude of the university or college is : So what, we got our money. Many universities and colleges in the USA actively support overstays by refusing to proactively report student visa violations to law enforcement agencies and immigration enforcement agencies.
Her eyes... you can see white around her pupil throughout, captivating!!!
