Very envious m8. Nice to see an angler standing up fishing a river for once (old school). I personally would have used a bait apron when trotting. You have your eyes on the float the whole time. More river video's please.
Hi there! Just watched your latest video, On the far side of the river from your swim there is a gap in the trees, "i was carp fishing" and on a July morning in 1982 about 8 am i cast out to a lady who had taken a bottle of pills and jumped in, she floated past me in the middle of the river just her hand was visible, "at that point i didn`t know it was a lady" any way i missed her the first cast as she had gone under so ran down towards the bridge where there is a bigger gap in the trees and cast up stream to where i thought she was?, and on my very next next cast i hooked something about 40 yards away... i waded in the river up to my neck just so i could get to who ever it was quickly, my girlfriend i was with shouted its a woman its a woman as she surfaced.... two anglers came to help me land what they thought was a huge carp and when they saw the lady that was blue in colour they ran off.... i got her out and rolled her over and over to get water out, after a few goes she made a grunt noise, people were watching from the Bridge, and the next i know an ambulance was there and the police, i got the Chief Constables award for that, Tim Lee ps great video again!
@@nottsfishingkbtv402 Angling times did a story on it "Hero angler" ha ha not! it was in the evening post also but i lost all the clippings in a house fire when i moved to Cornwall, i just have the award photo of my girlfriend collecting it from the Chief Constable, what made it difficult was i had my leg off due to a motorcycle accident and it was difficult to get it on quickly to run down river but i made it! the times news paper also wanted to do a story but i said to them you must think of her family and give them some space so no i did not try to contact her, some of your video watchers may remember it or have the article still, it was a surreal morning and i was only there as i had been kicked off the Manvers little Higgin stretch just down from the Forest ground for night fishing, so she was very lucky!

Thank you Clive. Glad you liked it.
Another lovely mixed bag of fish, you seem to attract swans.
Swans know where to get an easy meal. They must know I am a soft touch.
