- The Chevrolet Camaro is one of the most iconic American cars ever made. With heritage dating back more than 50 years! It’s hard to drive to your local convenience store without seeing a Chevrolet Camaro. The 5th generation of the Chevrolet Camaro gave us several variations all the way up to the big power ZL1.
In 2015, Chevrolet produced the greatest Camaro to ever roll off the assembly line. With track capability more potent than a Chevrolet Corvette or most Porsches. The Chevrolet Camaro Z28 shocked the world with how well balanced of a sports car it actually is.
With limited production numbers and a hefty price tag. The Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is not a common sight even at local car shows or tracks. So, to see one, much less two wrecked at insurance auction was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. The only question is, which one do we fix?

As a former owner of a 2014 and 2015 Z/28, I appreciate you guys keeping one on the road instead of just taking them both apart. Also, as soon as I got to the tire rubbing part of the video, I knew you had a rear rim up there. 19x11 et11 for the front, 19x11.5 et26 for the back. Love it, keep it up! Z U later!

I have to say I am astonished at the amount of money you guys just throw away because of lack of storage space..... instead of renting space you should buy something with land ....or a huge parking lot like an industrial building..... and I got tell you I was a dismantler for 28 years before I went to driving truck.... and corvettes are the most overrated car I would have to say. I have rebuilt and owned them and I was not impressed.but to each their own I would rather the z28 or take the Demon and out run every one of them .but being a Mopar guy that is a given...as for the German, Italian European cars yea they got some good looking cars but that's about it for me I appreciate all makes and the vision that goes into the design.but I am American I try to stick to an American maker( even when they get bought by a foreign company) and if it weren't for the Dodge brothers you would not have Ford.... and GM is about to collapse I am sure you are not aware of it because they are keeping it out of the News cycle.and Volkswagen was started by Adolf Hitler... Yes the one and only it was his car company in Germany. the hippies in the 60s we're too high and about free Love and sticking it to the man...that they all had their VW busses and beetle's and supporting a company started by a mad man...so getting to know history behind companies and such is interesting.. thought I would share a little knowledge with you and the viewers 😉

Z-28 is the best looking Camaro to date imo.
I'd have to almost agree. I'd say its a tie btwn a 5th gen Z28 and a 69 for best looking Camaros ever. The 6th gens are ugly IMO, except for the ZL1. They've also lost their muscle car looks. Hence why it failed, sold much less than expected and now will die.. again. COVID certainly didnt help either
Z YOU LATER!! 2014/15 Z28 has been my absolute dream car for years. Working hard at it to hopefully pay cash before my 25th in just two years. By that time that’s a 10 year old car, but even after 7-8 years still my favorite so I don’t think it’s gonna change.

It's not a big block, it's an aluminum LS engine with a 4.125 bore and a 4" stroke.
As a Mustang guy but I sure do love how that Z28 sounds, can't wait to see this baby finished!
The only camaro id own is a zl1 other was the mustang is for superior car

Z U Later...I had a 1969 Z/28 Camero as a kid and I purchased my daughter a 2010 Camero as a graduation present. Love to have a Z/28 emblem! Also love that you are getting one of those back on thr road! Good job!!!
Love the z28 but still take me ZL1 over one just because of the ls7 issues and nothing like supercharger V8. Much better looking. Still sad to see a savable z28 hit the dust. But will be good for parts hoping to snag few when they show up on eBay. Keep up the content! 🤙

I have a 2011 Camaro I’ve been wanting to convert my Camaro since my engine blew and I need a new one but money is really tight so it’s sitting in a storage garage and will have to wait and I miss that car so much, glad to see another downed Camaro getting a second chance, great job guys thank you and Z U LATER!

I remember looking at these new back in 2010 and thinking I need to wait about 10 to 12 years to be able to afford to buy one used. Now used prices are so high I still don't want to pay that much for a used one. :(
It was the trim to buy new. They don't make Z28 anymore
Z28 wasnt a trim level in 2010 and they only made them recently for the Gen 5 Camaro in 2014 & 2015

Hey , you can't put a price on a smile that it will give you. Or the love and emotions it will bring. When you get it you're going to feel like it's worth more than what you paid for it used anyways. Plus life is too short . gotta enjoy them now while we can and the government isnt taking them away

What kind of fuel pressure regulator u run? Bout to swap mine over to adjustable and start tuning but am hearing mixed reviews as to what brands have good and horrible quality 🤷♂️
U don’t need to change the pressure regulator on an ls unless your doing a boosted application where you need the increasing pressure with boost. Otherwise, just leave it alone and let it do it’s thing.

I remember these on dealer show rooms, they just sat in spot. Local dealer had 1 that sat for 2 years on the floor and it was heavily discounted.
yes, at the time they were more $ than a Shelby, which lets be honest, is way more popular. I heard from a GM guy that even at $75k, GM was losing $ on the Z28. They put so much R&D etc into it such as the DSSV shocks and all the Z28 specific parts. Would have been nice if they would have been able to save more weight by using somer carbon fiber but then the car would have been $100k MSRP.

It's been considerably harder to trade it for something than I thought. The s2000 trade worked out really well. The vette has been considerably harder. Something special coming up Friday kinda involving it though.
