Although there are numerous legendary U.S. muscle cars that I’d kill for, many Americans in the know are currently attempting to source iconic 60’s to 70’s era Australian designed / manufactured muscle cars : specifically the HOLDEN (GM) A9X / SS / SLR 5000 Torana, GTS Monaro in HK/HQ form and FORD Falcon XY GT (displayed in the video) or XA / XB / XC GT351C Coupes. Edit : Mine is an XA Coupe which was originally a GS with the 4.9L 302 Windsor, but now is a GT with the 5.8L 351 Cleveland and 4-speed Top Loader gearbox.
I could have bought a good condition XY Fairmont 6 cylinder in the early 2000s for 7k. I thought it was slow for a 4.1 litre but how I wish I bought her now.
Mines got a 393 Cleveland all alloy block and 4V heads. 5 speed Tremec and weighs half as much as this heavy "replica" tank . It sounds a little better too.
Nice ride! The love for muscle cars is world wide! The Australians love muscle cars as much as we do in America!
Right on!
We're on the same page there.

Nice rumbling idle sound, and the rev of the engine at the very end. Also I couldn't help but notice the ladies fabulous physique. lol
Glad you enjoyed it

My uncle had a red one back in the 70s. Sold it and bought the xc cobra.. reckoned it was the biggest mistake he ever made

Did he just say 3 valve alloy heads?
Yes danp, the owner of the vehicle advises us this vehicle is fitted with 3V heads.
2 inlet and 1 exhaust valve,quite common.
He means 3V. Not 3 valves.
Yes he did LMAO! I think he means venturi* instead of “valves” lol.
3 valve heads 😂 just admit when you haven't got a clue
@qford2587 your link leads to 3v CHI alloy heads referring to the size of the inlet and exhaust passages not valves per cylinder
Thanks for the clarification @@Cobrajamie We can only go by what the owner of the vehicle has told us. 🙂🙃
I miss my dads one of these :'(
Yes, they are a dream!
Sure sounds like rain after dry spell 🥰💦😅 love it
