    This video was too long. Halfway through it, I got hungry so I left it playing and went to the kitchen to fix my self a sandwich. But then I found out that I'm out of mayonnaise so I went to a store. There, I saw the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my whole life. But I'm really a shy person so I took up a three-year personality development course so I can introduce my self. She was very friendly and all, but unfortunately, she has a boyfriend. So I said, all good, I'm a mature person. I want the best for her and I harbor no illusion that I am the best person for her and she seems happy with her boyfriend, so I did not bother her anymore. But we kept in touch and we became friends and I got over my crush on her. Then she broke up with her boyfriend, we drank some alcohol because of it, I told her she'll be fine and I wished her well. I still think she's the most beautiful woman in the world, but like I said, I am over my crush on her. It was like five years already when I first saw her. Besides, I am quiet happy with the friendship I developed with her. It was more important than a crush. So we kept hanging out, drinking, having coffee, and all. I had a girlfriend, she started dating other guys. My girlfriend wants to live some other life without me in it, so I said, okay, I want the best for you and I want you to pursue your happiness. My lady friend and I drank alcohol about it, and she gave me the same advice I gave her when she was in that position and I became okay with the breakup immediately. But we were really drunk, so she spent the night in my apartment. I only have one bed, so you know what that means: She took the bed and I slept on the couch. But on the couch, I really can't sleep. Something was bothering me. So I tossed and turned for about three hours, then I finally can't take it anymore, I stood up and went straight to my room where she's sleeping. I approached the bed, gently sat on it and I reached for her shoulder to pull her closer to me. She stirred and woke up. She asked what's up. I told her, you know, the first time I saw you, I was watching a video and left it playing to get my self a sandwich then went to the store to get some mayo then I got distracted by life that I forgot to finish the video. She said, you know what, I've been wondering about a weird noise in your night drawer. So we opened that drawer, and lo and behold, there's my phone and this video still has two minutes of play time on it.

    • @lawrencegenereux8567
      @lawrencegenereux8567 6 лет назад

      En Japonés Con Raft If you go on Amazon, you can buy liquid lubricant that's a suspension of silicone and teflon. It works much better, it's less expensive (you get a much larger amount for the same price), and it stays exactly where you put it (no running). I use it on nuts, string trees, and bridge saddles, in addition to using it as a household lubricant.

    One item to add is Velcro One-Wrap cable ties. You get 50 on a roll (they're about $6 per roll) and when you're using your cable, you can just wrap it around the cable so you can find it when you're ready to roll it up again!

    Other than the usual accessories, my favorite is a usb rechargable headphone amp. It plugs right into your guitar, has tone, volume and gain controls and plugs right into your headphones or a small speaker.
    I chill in the living room at night rock in out in my apartment while the wife and kids sleep. When I'm done...I just have my guitar, headphones, mini (fits in the palm of your hand) amp and my pick to put away.
    It beats the hell out if hauling my practice amp and cords out just to jam a bit. Its also easy to stash if I need to go do something in a hurry.
    I wish I had this since I started playing.

    For me the Fast-Fret string conditioner is a must. It coats and cleans your strings, which both reduces friction and keeps the strings from corroding. It has a similar effect as the coating on Elixir or Cleartone strings, but can be used for any kind of metal strings.
    Another must is the pick wedgie. It is a tiny rubber piece that grips between the strings above the nut and gives a convenient place to keep extra picks.

  • @GogaBolz

    So the string wipes are basically overpriced wipes, and the pot spray is basically overpriced WD-40

    • @MusicisWin
      @MusicisWin  6 лет назад +110

      Pretty sure I wouldn't recommend using baby wipes or chlorox wipes on your strings, so no. Also pretty sure WD-40 is a petroleum product and can harm your guitar's finish, so, again, no. #Education

    • @mborel
      @mborel 6 лет назад +6

      I'm a fan of the GHS Fast Fret cleaners, lasts much longer than a pack of wipes. Planet Waves XLR8 cleaner works the same. Also, for grippy picks, nothing beats the Dunlop Max-Grips picks, although now I need to change my guitar nickname from "Fumbles" to something else.

    • @mborel
      @mborel 6 лет назад +10

      No, it's petroleum based, which is why it's so good at loosening rusted bolts. And you wouldn't want a water based lubricant/cleaner used on your electronics, either, as that could cause corrosion.

    • @orbit951

    The most useful guitar accessories that I have are the Fretfunk Guitar Strap Pick Holder. It just shimmies up on your guitar strap and holds 5 picks right there on your strap where you need it instead of your mic stand which might be fart away from where you're at on stage. The 2nd one is a roller bridge saddles. I play Fender Strats and I have them on my stratoblasters. I put a set on my wife's strat and a roller bridge on her SG and they never,ever go out of tune; no matter how much you use the whammy.
    I would love to win that beautiful capo. I would give it to my wife for xmas.

    No Roadie Tuner 2. Greatest thing I invested. Auto tunes your guitar quicker than a dog. Yea it's $129 but it's worth and tunes almost everything, not just guitars.

    Bonus item that is great: GHS Fast Fret...
    GET THIS STUFF!! I got it for $5 and it acts as a string cleaner and freshner. because the cleaner gives the strings a slippery feel, it lets you do guitar slides and solos with ease. even though I play guitar hours at a time per day, this has lasted me a whole month.
    defenitley worth it and i am suprised that its not on this list

    Top 10? Dang I have a box of crap I take on the road with me. Sort of a mobile guitar tech "box of tricks".
    Tuner (Delta Labs CT-30).
    Picks (Jim Dunlop .60s).
    Strings (Curt Mangans are the BEST imo).
    Straplocks (Dunlop).
    Set of mini screwdrivers (esp the dang allen for the Floyd Rose! Lol).
    Extra cables for everything, and a long one for if my wireless goes down.
    Coupla wrenches for when the input jack inevitably gets loose.
    Microfiber cloth.
    Beyond that, solder and torch, extra bits and bobs, screws, etc toothbrush for scrubbing nooks and crannies.

    I am both my best AND worst guitar accessory. I'm shit at it but I've also wrote/writing some of my and my friends(soon to be every 'good' persons) songs on. I've got too many guitars for my ’talent' but guitars and what they've done and do for me have saved me thousands on head doctor bills(which I spent on guitars and drugs). I love your videos mate. You make something fun more fun- they should teach YOU in schools... And to end, some disgusting selves promotion--- We is Captain Mad and the Musketeers of Hate(CMMH). "We are not musicians, we're just very very very very very angry people". CMMH XX

    My top 10
    (not in any specific order)
    1. Aerosol can. Those small tiny corners that are nasty and dusty? No problem.
    2. Allan wrenches. For your action. More of a must have.
    3. String cutters. Yes real strong cutters. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had some regular clippers just naw away at strings and it do absolutely nothing.
    4. Pedal board. Yes an actual pedal board. It’s so much more neat and clean and non messy than having pedals everywhere being knocked about.
    5. Backup strings. Strings break mid solo? No problem, no trip to the store, just go ahead and replace.
    6. Neck conditioner. Yes he said it here. And yeah, neck is made out of wood which is living. So you want to keep that thing moist and clean.
    7. Wireless guitar adapter. So much more neat and clean than having a cable around. Which can be stepped on and broken. This gives you so much freedom.
    8. Microfiber cloth. Clean your guitar and not worry about scratches or smudges.
    9. Capo. Obvious for playing difficult songs that actually require a capo.
    10. A kind of sheet to quickly look at if you forget how to tune to a certain tone.
    (All in my opinion)

    For lubricating guitar and bass nuts and string trees, INSTEAD of using Nut Sauce, go on Amazon and buy DuPont Teflon Silicone Lubricant. It works better than Nut Sauce, it doesn't run off of where you put it, and it only costs about $11.50 for 4 ounces! I've used Nut Sauce, and I'll never buy it again after using the DuPont lubricant. Nut sauce costs over 4 times as much.

    Excessively inexpensive accessory for the Slightly over active guitar player. Two oversized washer's from your local hardware store. Add these to your guitars currents Strap buttons for a very cheap strap lock. I'm not gonna say it'll look Pretty, but you're not going to drop. your guitar

    Hey there.. 432'er bullshity dude here! Not accesories but tips may I.. Neck-hanged guitars are unsetting guitars like hanged people are unhappy people!! In the case of acoustic may cause a concavity on the top right below the bridge.. I called the hanged men sindrome! Floor handlers or that tables or amps handlers seems the solution but even when the necks lays on a better way the pressure it's still there and more sooner than later will end unsetup.. You can just put it in respectively on the cases or just lay it on the floor with a carpet or a soft material! If you take it from their places or a gig a convenient way it's put it on a handler layin to the fretboard side! But hey.. It's just my opinión! You can always hang theirs to show it and setup every since a little..

    I'm beginner. One of those accessories confusing me. Its called string winder.
    Isn't it easier to use hands instead of this accessory?
    I haven't changed strings by myself, but I don't think that I would need string winder for that...
    Am I wrong?

  • @metalfreak1324
    @metalfreak1324 4 года назад

    I got same stuff but one is different but does the same job which is the string wipe, it's like a deodorant bar but for guitar obviously. I like my Korg clip tuner so i don't have to unplug my amp to tune my guitars. I also like my d'addario two in one string winder with string clipper. I don't have a capo, never had a reason to, or the grip. I normally get picks with better gripping texture but there are times I get picks that slips.

    I've had the same pick for 25 years, it's discoloured, been dropped into ash trays, lost in the hollow of guitar a few times over, but hey, it's still surviving like some lucky charm, it started off as yellow but has now got a nice orange tip. Maybe I should think about naming it, and don't say 'Lucky'.............

    Instead of grip tape on your picks, you could also get fingerpicks; and I personally have some guitar picks with their own texture.
