I've been listening to J1M1 since 1967. MANY many years. I try to make sure I get a dose of Hendrix every day. I've paid attention to all of the tribute players thru the decades. I mean Trower, SRV, Eric Johnson, etc, etc. This guy, Jay Howie is - - without a doubt - - THE BEST. Humble. Clean. Accurate. Authentic talent. Confidence exudes. A pleasure to hear such music.

I like this better than Jimmy’s version. I loved Jimmy’s pshycodelic version back in the day but age has mellowed me and I prefer acoustic nowadays.
Too much verb on the voice. Can hear the spring or the digital equivalent which is distracting imo. You're a great player brother. Know I'm nitpicking, but at your level nitpicking is fair ; )

Hi mate. I would recommend listening to Hendrix's slow rhythm type stuff and SRV. There are heaps and heaps of articles and lessons on google and RUclips which can send you in the right direction.
