The sound reproduction on this is unbelievable! Jeff's guitar is right where it should be. Drums are right up there! The vocal is in the perfect place. Whoever engineered this has his ears glued on in the right place! ✌️❤️
My first ever gig was Jimi playing this at the Alby London. Jeff shows us how to play an electric guitar from the soul.. Just like Jimi. Spellbindingly Brilliant. Thanks for putting it up here.
This was the best I have heard on this song. Even though SRV is a fantastic artist, Beck just puts his own touch in everything he does and makes it amazing. The drummer also added such a greatness to this. I need to add, everyone who played that night was brilliant. I never should leave any artist out. Sorry for being bias.
Incredible cover... I mean there isn't one note to withdraw from this. It's not shredding, it goes along the progression incredibly well... What a feeling in this! Great voice and great drums too, props to the drummer. But god, Beck is something else, really!
+MrHexode The drummer is also a producer, producing and co-writing on Whitney Houston's albums, Barbara Streisand, and a bazillion others. Great drummer as well as a producer and also has hits on his own. Look him up, Narada Michael Walden. He was amazing when I saw Beck live in 2010 in Indianapolis. Walden smiles the entire concert.
+Ed Houck He played drums for Tommy Bolin. When I saw him with Jeff in Oct. 2011, I had my Tommy Bolin tee shirt on and they played Stratus by Billy Cobham that Tommy Bolin played on. It was pretty amazing, and I think that since I was the fan that was the most into the show, Narada Michael Walden handed me both his drum sticks at the end of the show!
Great Tribute. Jimi would have wanted other artists covering his songs, to play them in their own way and not to just copy him. That's the way Jimi covered other's songs, the Experience way. This was well done in Beck's unique style and Jimi would be smiling with approval.
fourashbury A great example of a guitar player who continues to grow. No question Jeff Beck can out play me, but Jeff Beck can outplay Jeff Beck. Should give all of us players inspiration.
fourashbury I totally agree. Any artist of Jimi's stature would have appreciated what Jeff Beck did here by putting his own twist on it. He gets that you don't play the original note for note (B-O-R-I-N-G). Great job.
MAN! That is the best rendition I've ever heard of Jimi's classic. The vocals, Beck's playing, the tone of his guitar, everything was just beautiful. I hope I don't sound corny, but I got a lump in my throat... (side note: Notice that Jeff finger picked the song... more remarkableness)
I can tell y'all this: Jimi Hendrix never wanted to be worshipped and neither does Jeff Beck, but what Jimi DID want is for this song to live on. It came ripping out of his inner soul, down in there where he lived, and he'd be happy to hear Jeff play it.
Jeff Beck.... completely insouciant..... If you didn't know that the music was emanating from him because you'd been told, you might be fooled by that totally calm exterior! What a genius. I think Hendrix would have been very pleased.
And then I think, It's Jeff Beck - he never fails to disappoint. He's not the greatest songwriter in the world, but I've give anything to play like that. Love this guy ...
Beautiful rendition by a virtuoso of the guitar, he brings out so much emotion... surprised not many mentions of the Clapton/Allman (Derek & Dominos) rendering of this song...
Uau..this is simply unbelieveble!! Jeff Beck paying a tribute to Hendrix with his own and unique approach! And the drummer is just amazing! What a great voice!
wow it's been a very long time since i heard Jeff Beck.He is awesome on playing guitar most of all.playing different heavy Riffs sounds.Jeff Beck Rocks very Tallented Man
Man, I think I like this band iteration even better than his 2010 band with Vinnie and Tal. Narada and Rhonda made that groove sound like they wrote it in the first place. Still kicking myself for missing them in August.
Jeff........what Can i say from the Yardbirds to you Now a complete package truely Awesome From Ronnie Scotts to this and your still in outstanding form thank you for all your incredible Music .truely Astounding
Jeff Beck is the best living guitar player today. I LOVE Jimi Hendrix, but Jeff plays this better than Jimi did! And I saw Jimi play live when I was like 14 or 15.
that is how they have to format the data to fit their system is ti compress it at that level some one mentioned once there is a formatting delay available to correct it and also they cannot the songs in key due to copyright
One of the all-time best versions of Little Wing it's ever gonna be possible to hear!
Jeff Beck is easily in the top five of electric guitarists ever, sheer ability.
Jeff Beck is the most under appreciated guitar player of all time. What a talent.
It's Beck's humility in the face of genius that makes him still so appealing after all these years.
The sound reproduction on this is unbelievable! Jeff's guitar is right where it should be. Drums are right up there! The vocal is in the perfect place. Whoever engineered this has his ears glued on in the right place! ✌️❤️
Another classic in the hands of one of the few guitar players who can do this remarkable song justice. Nice one!
Jeff's technique, control, style, and execution is simply masterful.
The sad thing is that most people and especially the young people will never hear of this or Jeff Beck..Theyre missing a true legend.
My first ever gig was Jimi playing this at the Alby London. Jeff shows us how to play an electric guitar from the soul.. Just like Jimi. Spellbindingly Brilliant. Thanks for putting it up here.
Jeff Beck one of the living guitar legends.
great performance, Jeff Beck is among the most great guitar players ever...
This is a wonderful cover by Jeff Beck. Loved him since back in thev70's.
Never been A Jeff Beck fan, but this blew me away, amazing guitar skills, brilliant tribute to Jimmy's song.
I heard his "truth" album about 50 years ago, I knew him and Rod was special as soon as I heard it.
He was progressive then and still is today.
Thank you for playing Jimi. Don't ever forget him. His soul is in every guitar ever made.
Great cover, great dynamics. Probably the best rendition of this classic... ever
This was the best I have heard on this song. Even though SRV is a fantastic artist, Beck just puts his own touch in everything he does and makes it amazing. The drummer is "Narada" Michael Walden.
Thank you. I never did catch his name prior.
Agreed. Eric Clapton over the yrs.has done "Little Wing" great too.Jimi is smiling from the heavens. RIP
Great cover of this beautiful song. I think Jimi would love it!!!
I spend days and nights listening to your music, Jeff !
Thanks' for the ride

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate, I'll check this out tonight with a good headset!
+MrHexode beck always has great drummers:cozy powell,simon phillips,jonathan joseph,just to name a few.
+Ed Houck He played drums for Tommy Bolin. When I saw him with Jeff in Oct. 2011, I had my Tommy Bolin tee shirt on and they played Stratus by Billy Cobham that Tommy Bolin played on. +Ed Houck narada micheal walden has had more number1 singles then any other producer
Great job and the drummer did a great job with the lyrics!!
This is why we love Jeff, effortless playing. Fun echo and reverb, easy mastery!
There is no other than Jeff Beck loved him since the 60s.
It true . He’s not underappreciated by anyone that matters in the world of guitar or music.
Awesome!!!!!! One of the most beautiful songs ever.
what a drummer/vocalist
wwwwwwwwwow
He’s the famous american producer Narada Michael Walden.
Jeff is so underrated. He has so clearly surpassed so many of his peers. Love his style and skills, subtlety and amazing sounds.
Jeff Beck, Narada Michael Walden, Rhonda Smith
JUST BEAUTIFUL....
Only one word....Masterful!
Michael Narada Walden on drums and lead vocals.
One of my favorite guitar players, Done very well! Said chipalmy!
Great Tribute. Jimi would have wanted other artists covering his songs, to play them in their own way and not to just copy him. That's the way Jimi covered other's songs, the Experience way. This was well done in Beck's unique style and Jimi would be smiling with approval.

Lovely, and a great vocal performance too!

(side note: Notice that Jeff finger picked the song... more remarkableness)
Thats how he plays nearly every song.
Good guitar work from Jeff and brilliant vocals by Narada Michael Walden!!!
I can tell y'all this: Jimi Hendrix never wanted to be worshipped and neither does Jeff Beck, but what Jimi DID want is for this song to live on. It came ripping out of his inner soul, down in there where he lived, and he'd be happy to hear Jeff play it.
OMG! What a find this is! Love it; such talent ... thank you!
Jeff Beck.... completely insouciant..... If you didn't know that the music was emanating from him because you'd been told, you might be fooled by that totally calm exterior! What a genius. I think Hendrix would have been very pleased.
That's beautiful man! Jimi would be proud.
Great cover,by a great Guitarist.
If I could like this a billion times I would! Thank you so much for this! Consider the thought the gift :)
And then I think, It's Jeff Beck - he never fails to disappoint. He's not the greatest songwriter in the world, but I've give anything to play like that. Love this guy ...
I'm in awe, this stuff is magic!
just wonderful, a painter of notes
I was there! I can't explain how good it sounds live.
The best cover in my opinion
WOW!!! Just awesome brings to another time when I was a younger man learn to play the guitar...
Fantastica versione, grazie Jeff Beck, grazie Narada Michael Walden.
Beautiful rendition by a virtuoso of the guitar, he brings out so much emotion... surprised not many mentions of the Clapton/Allman (Derek & Dominos) rendering of this song...
Yes they did that great.
Jeff is a great guitarrist, and this homenage to Jimi is amazing.
jimi would approve. excellent playing. great feeling. loved it.
Very good cover for Jimi's! I mean actually brilliant! The best i've heard really!
I love that he doesn't use a pick. I have always played without one and he's someone I can really look up to in that regard
For me, I can "feel" the strings/music better. If I could play 1/10 like Beck I'd be satisfied. Make that 1/50.
Same, dude. He is seriously talented.
Same here, no pick
I can't play at all without pick though...
Playing without a pick seemingly makes playing the guitar really fun. Distortion/bends sound very nice on top of that.
we all know Jeff is a legend , i just want to big up the drummer ,
Great cover. Little Wing with a twist of Beck
WOW! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 🎸🎸🎶🎶🎸🎤
Jimi would have been proud....nice tribute
mind blown more than i thought it would be. great supporting band as per Beck
Uau..this is simply unbelieveble!! Jeff Beck paying a tribute to Hendrix with his own and unique approach! And the drummer is just amazing! What a great voice!
You should hear what Beck & Seal do with Manic Depression!
Thanks, I will.. I like them both a lot!
Le Daros You'll love it!
It doesn't get any better than this
wow it's been a very long time since i heard Jeff Beck.He is awesome on playing guitar most of all.playing different heavy Riffs sounds.Jeff Beck Rocks very Tallented Man
sweet! best cover of this song yet
What an amazing performance!!!
Jimi was the best then and still is today. He would be honored by Jeff's performance though. Jeff Beck, fabulous!
Brilliant cover! Jeff is still the guv'nor....
Wow! Thats beautiful tone!!!!
Such a loving to tribute from one friend to another.
Hendrix would love his version
This is beautiful
A tear wells in my minds eye.
Increible!
*JUST PERFECT!!!*
I respect SRV version, always will. Beck's technique. Breathtaking and honoring. Plenty of guitar respect for all who push the envelope.
Man, I think I like this band iteration even better than his 2010 band with Vinnie and Tal. Narada and Rhonda made that groove sound like they wrote it in the first place. Still kicking myself for missing them in August.
Narada Michael Walden mandando bem na bateria e no vocal. Ótima versão.
Beck covering Hendrix .... does it get any better than that ?!!!
Jeff........what Can i say from the Yardbirds to you Now a complete package truely Awesome From Ronnie Scotts to this and your still in outstanding form thank you for all your incredible Music .truely Astounding
how about the bass? She's excellent as well. But would Jeff Beck surround himself with anything but the best?
Ye ye.. very nice song! Cool drumer-singer and sure great Jeff. Thx all and sure Jimy!
Really nice, Beck stays true to the melody but adds his own flair.
drummer is Narada "supreme musician" Walden
so good it made me lonely for jimi.
Jimi would of absolutely loved Jeff's cover of Little Wing... Damn nice job and respectfully done Jeff...
Jeff Beck, number ONE.....
yeah for sure.I love Beck, this is some heavy music right here lol
St. Jeff just carves such a hearful drama on his guitar fret...
Inconcievable. Jimi would approve
thanks!
Beck is in my Top Ten
Great Tone!
Brilliant
hiram bullock's solo on sting's cover is pretty great also.
Turn the bass up!!!!
jeff beck does it again!!!
泣けるぜ
This is awesome
Great version ! Who is the drummer ?
What venue was this? Beck starts off by saying, "I saw Jimi here..."
Jeff Beck is the best living guitar player today. I LOVE Jimi Hendrix, but Jeff plays this better than Jimi did! And I saw Jimi play live when I was like 14 or 15.
rock on jimi
Nothing about the quality of the performance, but is the video a bit ahead of the audio (not sync'd)? Just want to know if it's my browser's problem.
+Lap Fung Lee nope they're slightly off
+Keith Lee just close your eyes and listen......
dragon21247 oh really? If it's RUclips's technical issue, they really need to address it.
that is how they have to format the data to fit their system is ti compress it at that level some one mentioned once there is a formatting delay available to correct it and also they cannot the songs in key due to copyright
